The ZF also did not include a charger. Honestly, my MH-25a has been hiding in a box somewhere for years. I use a USB-C charger that can charge 2 EN-EL15s simultaneously.
The fact that manufactures don’t include chargers anymore is wild. Was that charger going to raise the price to the point no one would be able to afford the new camera?!
Didn’t they do it for the same reason cell phone manufacturers don’t include them? It makes the box smaller and saves them a ton of money by being able to fit more boxes per pallet. Chargers are a cheap accessory if you need one which is why most manufacturers are opting to save the shipping and packaging costs. No one beats it for video in the price range, unless you are talking about cine cameras in which case the fx30 is a slightly better design, but worse in rolling shutter and low light and only 4k
No other Camera in its Price range matches the video capabilities of the Z6iii. Aside from maybe the Panasonic GH7 which offers internal ProRes RAW but it is a Micro 4/3 sensor, not full frame.
For video at $2500 there closest competitors are going to be the r6mkii and the lumix s5ii and all of them are very close but I think that the Nikon and lumix pull ahead for video due to the file formats and high fps shooting modes but for photo it seems to be the best at the price range

@@justinburley8659 I'm invested in the Canon family, but I came from Nikon. The R6-II is a great camera, but in my opinion the Z6-III has a fair edge on it with it's stacked sensor and faster card speed. I'll wait for the official reviews to come out, but I think the Z6-III is a strong offering at a great price point.

Nikon ZF also didn’t come with battery charger.
I read the user manual at first. It is welcome even now. I want to protect my eyes from the monitor screen, since an age. My eyes hurt from too much you tube! I love Nikon ! ❤
Should be a great cam!
I would never use the USB C socket for regular charging as they wear out over time. The older larger USB sockets are far more reliable for regular use.
I am happy at least they have included the camera in the box ! 😊 Electronic waste is emerging as a serious public health and environmental issue in the world !
I agree on the e-waste!
I think that it is not a good idea to charge in the camera it mean you cant use the camera when the battery is charging or you must spend another money to buy the charger especially if you just moved to Nikon
Set the camera to charge whilst using, and use a small external PD battery pack. Nice and easy.
£2600 and no charger, if I want to charge multiple (which you'll need) I want/need a charger, cheapskates.......Looking forward to more video's on this device......
@@FMJP think you're missing the point, they are charging £2600 for this device, they should include a separate charger. It's not a phone, the batteries are removable and sold separately for a reason.
@@FMJP iphone does not have a removable battery and if you want to charge 2/3/4 batteries then you need a charger and this isn't a £100 (or even £1000) camera. This isn't the same
@@FMJP 1 charger is fine, it's the convenience and lack of wear and tear on a £2600 Camera. I can be using 1 battery IN THE camera and be charging ANOTHER at the same time. It's how it always been. The other high end Nikon cameras come with one. Clearly you are one of the Nikon penny pushing accountants.
Nikon Zf also come without a charger and for me is easier to use the phone charger and not have to carry extra charger.
My Z30 didn’t come with a charger.
Hey man, your fro's leanin' to right side, the tight side?!
On the charger - another money grab. Nikon (and others) figure you're going to want at least one extra battery so you might as well get a charger too. More profit...
So, as someone who doesnt shoot or know much about video, may someone tell me what cameras in the Z6iii price range either match it or beat it for video?
Nothing comes close in terms of video with its features in this price range. A bonus that its also a great stills camera
Jared, this time review the Evf refresh rate, is it 60Mhz or could it go up to 120MHZ. No one talked about it In the many camera reviews I've watched.
It's 120 Hz, not 120 MHz.
No wind test though?
Great video and they said you were a Nikon hater 😂😂😂😂
This has gotta be great 🎉
They could have given us a sensor shield so we can "outperform" in all terrains...I hate not having a sensor shield in my z6 and Z6II.
The A1 came with a charger...I was definitely surprised....then I gave it to someone because I already had one😂
Где взять такую футболку? ❤
Jared- can you explain, on a technical level- why my Z6ii shoots better high ISO images than my Z8?
Because it has a 24 MP sensor and not a 48MP sensor, so that each individuel Pixel is bigger. If you oversample the Z8 image to 24MP it should also have better high iso performance
would it be bad to ask fro to make the fro short. so people can see around him when he is shooting. so he not in the way no that rude just like tossing battery. also is making so you can charge battery in the camera.
One of Cannon's new flashes use a similar battery the camera does and it too does not come with the battery charger That's another $80 to $100 on top of the cost of that Canon flash.
When I bought my brand new Google pixel phone that did not come with a phone charger either not even the cable so I knew that when I ordered the phone so I ordered the cable and the phone charger at the same time luckily they were both delivered at the same time.
Yes, for a charger at production costs of about USD 5 max. It’s all a rip-off.
Highly Disappointed for Without Charger 😢😢
Why? Every home has dozens of usb-c chargers.
@@ynnot65 we have just single 68 watt charger to charge the phone but for the valuable Camera we can't use some random third party charger right
@@selvamakephotography I have two Nikon chargers. For D750 and Z6. I never use them. The D750...well it has retired. And the z6 has a batterygrip with usb-c. For this I use a Samsung Fastcharger. Works fine. By this way, my Samsung S21 Ultra came without charger too. New standarts.;)
@@ynnot65 if they sale seperate charger adopter for exact Nikon z6iii means fine ... I worried about standard charger for the camera
How can Nikon Z6iii without provide charger for it fan?
Just unboxed my OM-1 Mark II which also came without a charger... companies just want us to go and buy the charger for the extra profits
Can't wait for your test on birds without a dedicated bird detection focus mode. I know they combined it with animals, but that could be a deal breaker.
I did not get a charger with my Z9 only got the wall adapter witch plugged into the camera and not an credal to put the battery in time I got my hands on one for about £150 wow. Crazy price but before any one says yes I see on TH-cam some Z9s came with the full charger ummm was I ripped off
Zf did not come with a charger. I charge it via USB C.
Zf did not come with the battery charger either.
I have been saving for years for a new Nikon camera and when I heard about the Z6 iii, I knew this was the one. I currently have a 12 year old Nikon D 5100 or should I wait for the Z7 iii ?
I have the one, I think I am going with the z6iii. Did you got it already?
Ha! They got you to do a double take on the neck strap! Kind nice... but naw... On the floor! ;-)
I have a lot of 2 amp wall cubes that could be used for charging, but none of them are USB C. So that is an interesting choice in cable to include. I do have a lot of USB C to USB A cables however so I would have to use my own cable to charge the thing. I wonder how many are in the same boat?
Nicely done.
Oh my GOD ! Even camera manufacturers now are no longer including chargers in the box? It's all Apple's fault. I knew, when I watched that keynote, that Samsung and other cell phone manufacturers wouldn't be far behind. But I didn't think actual CAMERA manufacturers would soon follow suit as well! I don't like that. Camera batteries aren't like cell phone batteries, and I wouldn't like needing to use my camera to charge each of my four Nikon batteries, this would be terribly time consuming. Come on, these products are expensive enough, what's the harm in including a battery charger? You're gonna tell me the boxes are smaller too, to cut on carbon footprint?
There would be value, for a large crowd I think, to see an AF comparison(in low light too please) between the Z6 iii and other brands(more than just one or two) of cameras in the SAME PRICE RANGE. A Mr. Undone style thorough analysis. Also in different " genres", not only favorite sports and kids running on the play ground. Please, please ?
Fuji, Please fix our AF
I AM NIKON. Y'all remember that slogan.
Beautiful 👍👍👍📸👍📸👍📸👍📸👍👍👍
You'd think that a photography channel would be able to do some flatlay shots of the inboxing!
It’s not important or needed. But feel free to start your own channel. .
Id rather see the glorious fro
Me, 2 seconds in the video: *JUST SNIFF THE DAMN THING ALREADY*
The Zf doesn't come with a battery charger either.
So does a person get the z6 iii or thr z8 is the 1k worth it
Z30 was the first Nikon camera that didn't include a battery charger, just a usb c to a cable.
Greed maximised.
I was going to switch to the A7 IV for because that camera makes the Z6 II look like a pretty terrible camera AF wise but waited out to see if the Z6 III would be better. Jared has scared me saying the focus still gets lost and still looks unreliable like my Z6 II. The A7 IV doesn't seem to have these issues at all
Well u just answer ur own question
@@filmzfilmz Not really because he also said its better but by how much. In a challenging environment like a gig will it hold up fine like the A7 IV or fall to bits like the Z6 II (I've used both).
Changing to Sony seems like a good move but very very expensive so I dont really want to do it if I dont have to. Hence the question
@@LaveaFirmis what system do u have now?
Both cameras are great. If you are going to use video and you need more fps, go for Nikon.
@@filmzfilmz Currently Nikon for stills and Sony for video. I have more lens on the Nikon side. Sadly not a simple answer but up to now because of the lack of video control on the Nikon, like the 'flat' profile not really being flat and the jittering AF I couldnt use the Z6 II for video.
Nikon & Star of David. I love this channel more
I love how the Z6-III with a stacked sensor is still being referred to by Jared as a "starter camera", yet he virtually came in his pants over the R8 with it's lack of IBIS, under-sized battery, and no stacked sensor. I smell a rat. It's sad and disgusting how so many reviewers seem like they're so bored and disappointed by anything less than a flagship model.
There isn’t a Nikon camera at the same price as an R8 with the updated autofocus. AF performance seems to be very important to him even if that’s not the case for beginners
It’s true if you don’t weigh the AF that much, the Z5 has better ergonomics, build, IBIS, duel card slots.. but can’t touch the R8 for AF, though I find Z5 eye detect is fine for portraits and family photos.
@@justinburley8659 I'm invested in the Canon family, but I came from Nikon. The R6-II is a great camera, but in my opinion the Z6-III has a fair edge on it with it's stacked sensor and faster card speed. Not to mention (but I will) that it's going for the same $2500 the R6-II started at (now $1999) It sounds to me like Nikon is on a comeback tour with the Z8 and Z9 and now a pretty great sounding Z6-III. I'll wait for the official reviews to come out, but I think the Z6-III is a strong offering at a great price point.
@@Jviotrstabilization is more important for photo and video as it impact the af as well. I prefer my sony a7c gen 1. Good ibis for photo, and i will use a gimbal for video to compensate the mediocre stabilization in video (now better in a7cii), small lightweight compact even with a flash pro on top, full frame, good everywhere without being the best everywhere. It has no weakness, even the small evf and screen are ok for me. And i agree with canon and nikon, and sony (a7c) 24 mp good for low light conditions are important for quality photo and videos and speed. I would not change my old a7c for the newer camera for that reason. I solve the weakness (video stabilization) and evf size and grip, with gimbal, new eye cup, and cage smallrig with integrated handle if necessary. I solved 4k60 and 4k120 missing by doing 1080p60 and 1080p120 upscaling to 4k which is super quality on the computer software. No need for more newer cameras that have more mp but have also lot of noise and degraded quality in low light conditions. Then autofocus is very important as we don’t have the time to focus 98% of the time. But camera are a full package, everything is important up to the lens quality and chromatic aberrations and distortion control, the white balancing, the ergonomic..a camera is more than a sensor and af, even if these two are the most important in the package.
I don’t remember a charger with the original Z6 but I could be misremembering.
Didn’t do the wind tunnel test 😅
Filled with his bad breath...
Uh oh, you made a comment about the Focus System. A TH-camr is going to go off now about your comment 😂
I know exactly who you're talking about😂. He's actually made a follow up already. He does however sum up the typical Nikon fanboy crybaby.
It's stupid to not include the charger
And why is that ? How ma y chargers are in a typical household already?
@@Cervin_Suisse What if I am a user of another brand? Also, do you allow your camera to be charged directly from the plug? If I were you, I wouldn't do that.
@@VW1132-m2l I personally do that all the time.
@@VW1132-m2l USB chargers have spécifications/ratings that are written on the housing. If the manufacturers dont include the chargers they know & assume 3rd party chargers will be used ́no ?
You''ve made the best z63 videos so far, the others are just like Nikon adverts with no balance. But Does your battery door open well or does it get stuck? No mains charger is annoying, in the field you can't easily do it without
So Jared.. the last Nikon I purchased was a D810.
I’m thinking of getting a D850. Any suggestions?
I do portrait photography.. and I have the 28mm, 58mm, and 85mm 1.4 G’s.
Go mirrorless and you wont look back. D850 is arguably the best DSLR ever made, but the quality you get from mirrorless cameras now really is a step ahead. Really any mirrorless camera will do portrait photography well. D850 is a beast though.
