Hawaiian silky is an old school product that's been around for years and was originally meant for a Jheri curl but it can also be used on natural hairstyles. Basically the one that's for the dry look meaning it is a lighter version of the Hawaiian silky that you're using in this video. Because to some the one that you're using in the video might be a little bit too heavy some. It's not going to give you the unhealthy, dull dryness that you're thinking of.

I know some people who actually had a Hawaiian Silky jheri curl back in the day lol. Thanks for clearing up the "dry look" thing! I am satisfied with the original formula. I only have to apply it once until it's time for wash day 7-10 days later.

@@prettyandpoised Yes it definitely works well. I just recently purchased the same one you used in your video and did some two strand twist. I washed and conditioned my hair and applied my leave in and curl defining cream for natural hair by Suave . Then I applied the Hawaiian silky gel activator and my hair has never felt this soft OMG. Normally I would use blue magic hair grease to seal but this curl activator might become my new staple product. Your hair looks good by the way
