I have been on the fence on getting into the NFT game and specifically Axies for almost a year. A couple times I worried it was not a good time because prices were too high and other times I worried the market/prices were sliding. But with current prices being so low, it sure seems like a good time to spend under 1k and really get a feel for how it works and perhaps get lucky if prices trend upwards. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for your effort and videos, especially this one, as it is so cool to see you go step-by-step through the process. A lot of the lingo is still foreign to me and being able to see exactly how you do it is so helpful.
Hey, happy I could help. I have added some updates over the last few weeks as well. I show this in another video, but If you are able to use binance the cheapest way to get ETH into your ronin wallet is usually to buy SLP on binance send it over the ronin network, and then use the katana dex to swap it for wETH. Do be afraid to do some test transactions with only a couple dollars as well. The terms will make more sense as you get more used to it.
@@-phenom- Unfortunately that is normal. There are a lot of restrictions for using binance in the US. In that case, you can try purchasing wETH directly in your ronin wallet as well. They use RAMP which added credit card support for the US last month

I don't have a direct contact at the moment, I need to set up some social media. However, I will make a video on this soon. Essentially you want to set up other accounts in your ronin wallet. And connect those to new accounts on the Axie Infinity market place. And you will transfer the axies to those ronin addresses with the gift function like I demonstrated at the end of this video. You can then give your scholars QR codes or the login for Axie marketplace, the email and password. But do don't give them the login for your ronin wallet, and never share your seed phrases with anyone

Hi Nadir, personally I would advise don't invest anything you can't afford to lose. There is no guarantee you can get your money back. The reason rewards are high is usually because risk is also high. I hope that helps. Of course, I am not a financial advisor

Hey Jin, A few people have asked me this. Great question. The big drawback is that you have to have ETH in your metamask to withdraw anything from the Ronin sidechain. So if you want to sell SLP for example, or remove ETH from Ronin you will also have to buy more ETH outside of Ronin. That is why I like to buy it outside of ronin first and leave some of it outside of ronin (ie in metamask) for future withdrawals. I hope that makes sense
For battling, right now, I would go with a double aqua plant. Or a Plant Beast Bird combo. Don't worry about pure breeds or breed count because you need to save a bit of money. But choosing good attack cards is important so make sure do some research before choosing. NFA

Could be a bug with ronin, there have lots of congestion. I would recommend waiting and trying again. You can also check to see if your transaction was successful in your wallet activity
Might wanna include how to play on the axie infinity app itself. Like do we create a new account or if we need to use the ronin account we used on the axie market place.
I can add that to a future video. Easist way is to download the app from the official website. And then on your computer log into Axie Marketplace and at the top left there is an option to generate a QR code. Launch the app on your mobile device and scan the qr code. Keep in mind, mobile IOS does not work for Axie infinity. Android only

Downloading the game to my PC was easy enough to figure out, however when the Mavis Hub came up, I wasn't sure if I was suppose to create a new account or login. Maybe it was because of all the creating new accounts then linking or bridging them to the next which led me to believe I had to create a new account then link or attach or bridge the Ronin account to it. But I also read somewhere that you cant login 2 different accounts on the same device/computer within 24hrs which made me hesitate. I had to research elsewhere and join some Axie discord server where many shady people kept sending me DM's. I finally found out somewhere that the Ronin account where you logged into the Axie marketplace and bought your Axies, is what you need to login to start playing. So it would have been convenient to have that info in this video especially coming from a reliable source such as yourself for all the newbies out there who are also following this guide like myself. But like you said we will look forward to that video which could be a part 2 from this video on what to do after buying your Axies. Sorry for making a short story long but maybe someone else might see this comment and help them with these few extra steps to start playing the Axies that they have recently bought.
I'm almost ready to get my own team, planning to buy AAP with 3/7 bc and at least 90% purity with a budget of around $2600 CAD. I'd do slp farming first and once I got my ROI back, I'll start breeding. Do you think that would be a good approach? Also looking to buy axs to hold if I got some left.
Buying with 3/7+ breeds for battling is a great way to save money, but you may want to buy new axies when you start breeding. It will depend on the cost of AXS and SLP when you start because the profit margins have been getting narrower. Sounds like a good plan though. Personally, I don't hold much AXS, I only use it to breed.
This video was made in july when ETH prices were cheaper, but I still see them drop below $40 if you are lucky. You have to be patient and keep checking, or bite the bullet if you can not wait.

There is no Ronin Mobile Wallet at the moment, so no. But Metamask and Binance can be used on mobile. You can transfer ETH to someone else's metamask, but be careful!! There is no way to get it back if they scam or trick you.
I'm planning to buy Axies on Marketplace. What are the pro's and con's in buying on marketplace? cause I have read that there's a chance that the axies you bought will be banned if it came from a hacked account.
The prices have been fluctuating a lot, but I would recommend a starting budget around $1500. If you spend more one of the three axies with really good genes and 0 breeds, you could buy a partner for it to breed with in the future.

You can give them the login in for Axies Infinity. The email and password. Just don't give them the password to Ronin wallet, and never share your seed phrases with anyone
I can add it to the list! Personally I swap ETH for SLP on Uniswap when I need to. And then send ETH somewhere like Binance, but that might not be what you want
Can one bridge ETH, AXS, and SLP from metamask to Ronin all at once in a single transaction to minimize gas fees? Or does each coin need to be sent separately?

You can claim the SLP after 14 days. Timer resets every time you claim. You do this if you login to market place. My account > Claim tokens. Then you just confirm in ronin. It is in Ronin so no fee to claim. Then instead of using deposit on the ronin bridge like in the video you use withdraw. For scholars, typically a manger claims the SLP and then sends it to a scholars ronin wallet. Or exchanges it for ETH and then send that to a scholars Etherium mainnet wallet

Definitely. It will take longer to get to higher levels, but you can earn some SLP this way no problem.

I am Canadian, so my taxes will be different than yours. Mining might be the closest comparison, but I am not an accountant

You can give them the login in for Axies Infinity. The email and password. Just don't give them the password to Ronin wallet, and never share your seed phrases with anyone

I can add it to the list! Personally I swap ETH for SLP on Uniswap when I need to. And then send ETH somewhere like Binance, but that might not be what you want

Not to my knowledge, you have to go through a browser based wallet like Metamask to use the bridge. They recommend Metamask officially
How about how to claim slp and withdrawing it?
I can look at doing a video for this. You will need ETH in your metamask (Or other wallet on the eth network) to withdraw it from Ronin.

You can claim the SLP after 14 days. Timer resets every time you claim. You do this if you login to market place. My account > Claim tokens. Then you just confirm in ronin. It is in Ronin so no fee to claim. Then instead of using deposit on the ronin bridge like in the video you use withdraw. For scholars, typically a manger claims the SLP and then sends it to a scholars ronin wallet. Or exchanges it for ETH and then send that to a scholars Etherium mainnet wallet
