What I love about this game is that it's proving that a nft/crypto game can bring in some big numbers. I see a future with an actual big name like Pokemon or Yugioh and having legit game mechanics along with earning capabilities. The future is bright for crypto.
Finally the video that actually warn about Axies Infinite. I do also find it red flag when I try and try to search for the video like this on Axies but can't find any video at all. This is really good content.
This is what kind of content I want to see on other Filipino vloggers out there. Not just over hyping the game. Don't get me wrong, I want the game to thrive and lasts for a long time, I have my money on it. But we all need an honest, as humanely possible review.

This game is literally saving the Venezuelan economy LOL. Is like a holy grial that came from nowhere. It´s even in the news. poeple that income were lower than 50$ a month now getting more than 600$. They are quite happy. So I think that´s a large player base target, to keep the game alive for a while. ( and most of LATAM region)

I think they need to add Axie aging system where they eventually become Elder Axie and you put them in your land and they lecture other axies(add minor boost) and boost is stronger with high winrate high skill axies. If you want to burn even more axies, you can do god axie which requires shit ton of axies to be sacrificed. And god axies would be so exclusive they give you rights to vote for the decisions around the game

I'm almost afraid to share this video to my Axie group chat. They'll tag it/me FUD. 😅 But you've made some excellent points I never thought about before. Fingers crossed the game continues to flourish at least until my ROI. ✌️😁 Thankfully, I've only invested in one team so I didn't shell out much. But this has me rethinking about purchasing another team.

Crazy that it's centralized and the Axie team can basically do whatever they want. I hope this game continues to shoot for the skies and that no one on the ownership/management team is overly opportunistic when the chance presents itself.
Great video and congratulations on trying to be unbiased about this subject, It really shows your true character. The only thing I disagree is the fact that, I think, the company is actually interested in increasing the value of SLP and AXS. With those numbers up, the AXIES also go up, there are more new players, more breeders, more AXIES being sold and more money being made by them (they get 4,5% per purchase of AXIE).
I just started with Axie and I don't care much about the risk. The slp price could go down and might make team owners sell their teams but I would stay. I believe that this is a long term investment and will yield good results to those who are patient and does not freak out to price changes.
There's also the fact that SLP can only be claimed every 2 weeks. Personally, its been annoying seeing people/friends always posting every moment SLP peaks, not taking into account how volatile it can be before they can even cashout. I don't see it being talked about much and most newcomers get surprised when they find out.
This is a very good point! And it creates an interesting dynamic with how the price of axies in the marketplace and breeding respond to spikes and dips in SLP. It also deters everyone from selling all at once.
I actually like the once every 2 weeks limit. It discourages people with lots of money to pump and dump SLPs. You gotta wait, and speculators don't like holding periods like that. Sure, Sky Mavis is a big factor in determining the price of SLP, but given how people like Mark Cuban are investors, I think they're doing a calibration between price, player demand, etc, and not manipulating the token market for themselves
Oh don't get me wrong, I don't mind it either. Its just that the 2 weeks restriction is a hidden risk that most people only realize once they're already in the system. My point was originally about those only looking to sell SLPs though, so this conservation has been pretty enlightening to say the least.

They are connected, but not always as straightforward as it seems. One thing that will hold true a lot in the short term though is if ETH suddenly drops, you can get axies cheaper because they are priced in ETH, but over the long-term users can adjust the prices.
i completely agree on the standpoint that the coin is very controlled and centrualized, but sooner or later they gonna fix it, for the benefit of the game

I have no problem with axie team dictating the price, I just hope it will not be that greedy considering the price of the axie now which is 500+ USD (cheapest). Just like the vlogger said, there is still time for the axie team to resolve this potential bubble.
For the game, I think it is a good thing that they can control the tokens. But that is also why it is crazy to me that people are buying and HODLing the tokens without playing the game. It is not designed to be a store of value. Everything is about making the NFTs valuable

No worries about the prices and SLP value! If SLP drops or even burst a bubble, CHEAPER AXIES FOR SALE AND TO BREED! This cycle will cause SLP value to rise and fall like you would normally see with any NFT/Crypto tokens.
We're not even yet started... Axie will be a future luxury game for filthy rich people so if You're saying 1000usd is expensive then lets see if you can still say that in six months. Ronin will not make Axie price go down since the demand will skyrocket which means SLP price to moon which in return make Axies more expensive. SLP 1usd at end of 2021, and that is imminent.
If the axies are over populated the game will be less value which need to bring AXS up for less breeding to balance out. SLP will be selling in more volume every day due to higher in price now which price need to come down for a stable income for players to earn. It's better advise to not invest for holding, but trading at the right time frame can be a big profitable. BREEDING EVENT July 15th to July 29th!

It will be difficult for the first couple weeks, but once your axies level up some you can get the daily 100 SLP in adventure pretty fast. And winning in arena will become easier too
Totally agree with your summary, But you forgot the addition of ronin dex which will decentralised it all and the update on land play. But for the current price is high because of the demand of new players. What will completely crush these game are those Axie farms.

I am not really confident on this. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. I am not saying that is necessarily a scam, but if we look in the long term things could collapse quickly. Just think about the amount of nft games that are coming out plus the fact that once the people will not be interested in this game anymore (as any other game in the planet) prices could really have a downturn.

Crazy that it's centralized and the Axie team can basically do whatever they want. I hope this game continues to shoot for the skies and that no one on the ownership/management team is overly opportunistic when the chance presents itself.

Great video and congratulations on trying to be unbiased about this subject, It really shows your true character. The only thing I disagree is the fact that, I think, the company is actually interested in increasing the value of SLP and AXS. With those numbers up, the AXIES also go up, there are more new players, more breeders, more AXIES being sold and more money being made by them (they get 4,5% per purchase of AXIE).

I just started with Axie and I don't care much about the risk. The slp price could go down and might make team owners sell their teams but I would stay. I believe that this is a long term investment and will yield good results to those who are patient and does not freak out to price changes.

There's also the fact that SLP can only be claimed every 2 weeks. Personally, its been annoying seeing people/friends always posting every moment SLP peaks, not taking into account how volatile it can be before they can even cashout. I don't see it being talked about much and most newcomers get surprised when they find out.
This is a very good point! And it creates an interesting dynamic with how the price of axies in the marketplace and breeding respond to spikes and dips in SLP. It also deters everyone from selling all at once.
I actually like the once every 2 weeks limit. It discourages people with lots of money to pump and dump SLPs. You gotta wait, and speculators don't like holding periods like that. Sure, Sky Mavis is a big factor in determining the price of SLP, but given how people like Mark Cuban are investors, I think they're doing a calibration between price, player demand, etc, and not manipulating the token market for themselves
Oh don't get me wrong, I don't mind it either. Its just that the 2 weeks restriction is a hidden risk that most people only realize once they're already in the system.
My point was originally about those only looking to sell SLPs though, so this conservation has been pretty enlightening to say the least.

It's from a completely different basis than external investors and isn't meant to have its coins and such invested in *at all*. It's supposed to be a game that has real world value in a similar fashion to other games such as WoW and Runescape but instead of it having to be a roundabout external traders, an internal trade by players -> for players. You're buying these Axies to play and if you're going to be trying to make money you always have to keep that context in mind that it's *meant to be played as a game, simply with full real world values*.
@@kristobal8478 thats true. But then if you look at crypto currency in general, they need new investors to drive up the price. If no other investors come in, then the price stagnates. And if people sell at a loss, then whoever is holding the coin last, loses.

newbie question. when are axie the cheapest (finding the right time to buy a team). is it when slp/axs/eth drop price meaning axie would also get lil cheaper ? are these 3 connected to each other
They are connected, but not always as straightforward as it seems. One thing that will hold true a lot in the short term though is if ETH suddenly drops, you can get axies cheaper because they are priced in ETH, but over the long-term users can adjust the prices.
What happens if Eth gets to 20000?

Whitepaper indicates that Axie will go gradually to decentralization. Expect in the future that the governance will go to the AXS holders.
Yes I wanted to touch on this more, but I forgot honestly. I am looking forward to a more decentralized ecosystem with AXS acting as governance, but this has not been implemented as of yet so I still want to be careful.

Just vacuum up every SLP on the marketplace and watch everyone go on a bidding frenzy, then sell when it's very high

I have no problem with axie team dictating the price, I just hope it will not be that greedy considering the price of the axie now which is 500+ USD (cheapest). Even though there is a factor on supply and demand still, it can be controlled otherwise it will saturate the market of those with buying power. Just like the vlogger said, there is still time for the axie team to resolve this potential bubble.
For the game, I think it is a good thing that they can control the tokens. But that is also why it is crazy to me that people are buying and HODLing the tokens without playing the game. It is not designed to be a store of value. Everything is about making the NFTs valuable

Yeah I don't think a lot of people realized how much control their is in place. It is needed, but not your typical cyrpto or NFT setup
No worries about the prices and SLP value! If SLP drops or even burst a bubble, CHEAPER AXIES FOR SALE AND TO BREED! This cycle will cause SLP value to rise and fall like you would normally see with any NFT/Crypto tokens.
I agree with you. But I don't want people to think they can buy axies right now and sell SLP and will make their money back, risk-free in a few weeks.
We're not even yet started... Axie will be a future luxury game for filthy rich people so if You're saying 1000usd is expensive then lets see if you can still say that in six months. Ronin will not make Axie price go down since the demand will skyrocket which means SLP price to moon which in return make Axies more expensive. SLP 1usd at end of 2021, and that is imminent.

If the axies are over populated the game will be less value which need to bring AXS up for less breeding to balance out. SLP will be selling in more volume every day due to higher in price now which price need to come down for a stable income for players to earn. It's better advise to not invest for holding, but trading at the right time frame can be a big profitable. BREEDING EVENT July 15th to July 29th!

I am really happy to hear my videos are helping you. I think you can definitely get 250 SLP a day if you put in the time. It will be difficult for the first couple weeks, but once your axies level up some you can get the daily 100 SLP in adventure pretty fast. And winning in arena will become easier too

I am not really confident on this. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. I am not saying that is necessarily a scam, but if we look in the long term things could collapse quickly. Just think about the amount of nft games that are coming out plus the fact that once the people will not be interested in this game anymore (as any other game in the planet) prices could really have a downturn.
I agree with you and it is one of the reasons I started this TH-cam channel actually. I love Axie Infinity and I have lots invested, but there is no such thing as free lunch as they say. I want the community to grow, but I also want it to be skeptical and have realistic expectations. Things could go on for a long time, but they could also crash and burn. This is Crypto after all. I cringe when I hear other youtubers saying things like Axie Infinity can not be stopped
