  • Hello! Today we are going to prepare a wonderful dish - buckwheat patties with tomato sauce. This is the perfect dish for a family dinner that everyone will enjoy. Follow the step-by-step recipe, and you will easily be able to prepare tasty and juicy patties made from buckwheat and minced meat, stewed in aromatic tomato sauce.

    Ingredients:
    Minced meat (pork) - 500 g
    Buckwheat groats - 150 g
    Water - 300 ml
    Egg - 1
    Onion - 2 (100 g)
    Salt - 1 tsp (5 g)
    Black pepper - to taste
    Flour - for shaping the patties
    Oil - 3 tbsp
    For the sauce:
    Tomatoes in their own juice - 400 ml (can be replaced with fresh tomatoes, peeled and grated)
    Red bell pepper - 1 (100 g)
    Onion - 2 (100 g)
    Garlic - 2-3 cloves
    Hot water - 100 ml
    Oil - 2 tbsp
    Salt, pepper - to taste
    Recipe:
    Preparation of buckwheat: Rinse the buckwheat groats, add water (300 ml), boil until ready, and let it cool.
    Preparation of minced meat: In a bowl, add minced meat, chopped onions (2), egg, salt, pepper, and cooled buckwheat. Mix thoroughly.
    Shaping the patties: Shape the patties, coat them in flour. Fry in hot oil until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes on each side).
    Preparation of vegetables: Dice onions and sweet bell pepper, finely chop garlic.
    Preparation of the sauce: Fry the onion until translucent, add the sweet bell pepper, fry for a few minutes. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, and garlic. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
    Stewing the patties: Place the fried patties in a skillet, pour the sauce over them. Add hot water (100 ml), bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and stew over low heat for 25 minutes.
