thankyou for this i got a Kia Picanto 2010 bought it secondhand its a year of driving it and my battery drained with no warning though it was the original Lucas Battery. i contacted Halfords to put a new battery in only a few months ago and today the battery is totally dead.. one thing i noticed is the car looks to permanently Live. i take the keys out of the ignitiion i press the brake light and it still comes on.. great point the car is not sleeping when i take the keys out of the ignition

Great diagnosis those thermal imaging cameras ain’t cheap but are useful.

What is the fix, I’m guessing pulling the fuse out isn’t because my break lights stopped working after doing that
