Mobile Suit Gundam Z: AEUG vs. Titans Arcade

If you have played Federation Vs Zeon DX, you already know how to play this game because it is basically the same game engine. The cabinet has 8-way joystick and 5 buttons: shoot, melee, jump, search, and command/communicate.
All MS can dash or do a quick side step. To do it simply double tap the joystick to the direction you want to dash.
The Jump button, it's pressed to fly in the air. Watch out for the boost gauge because you'll fall back to the ground when it runs out.
To fly in a certain direction, push the direction you want to flyusing the joystick while pressing jump. Dashing can also be performed while in the air. To do an airdash, do a dash while in the air and hold the joystick the direction you want to dash.
Some MSs from Zeta series can transform into MA mode, Zeta Gundam for example can transform into waverider. To transform in the game, simply hold Jump and dash.
The Search button, target an unit press the search button and the camera will face towards it. If you press it again, you'll cycle through other enemies
The Command/Communicate button has several use, If playing with CPU partner, you can choose 1 of the 5 commands: Normal, Sniping, Close Combat, Back Up and Evasion. If you are playing with a friend, pressing it will tell your partner your current status.
There is also button combination like the previuos game:
Shoot + Melee: fires sub weapon if the MS has one.
Melee + Jump: special melee attack.
Shoot + Jump: manually reload main weapon for some MSs
The new feature unique to this game is Hyper combination, it encourages teamwork between you and your ally.
Right underneath the pilot name is a green gauge that will increase when you
do one those things, You and your ally hit the same target at the same time or immediately one after another. You hit a target that is aiming at your ally. You block an attack that is fired towards your ally.
When you fill the green gauge, you can activate hyper combination by pushing the command/communiate button.
If you are playing with a human player, both of you players have to press it at the same time in order to activate HC.
Once activated, there'll be a little scene and you and your ally's MS will glow. Hyper combination will boost the attack power, speed, and armor.
You and your ally also cannot be stunned or knocked down by enemies' attacks, but you will still take damage. Also, friendly fire will be disabled while HC is activated. It only last 8 seconds.

AEUG: Kamille Bidan, Quattro Bajina, Amuro Ray, Emma Sheen, Reccoa Londe, Fa Yuiry, Katz Kobayashi.
Titans: Jerrid Messa, Mouar Pharaoh, Paptimus Scirocco, Four Murasame, Yazan Gable, Kacricon, Rosamia Badam, Sarah Zabiarov, Buran Blutarch, Lila Milla Rira, Haman Karn.
The game has 9 stages with increasing difficulty, whether you are playing as AEUG or Titans, you have to choose one of following 5 stages to start your game: Green Noa 1, Jaburo, Green Noa Space and Gate of Zeden.
Each path is slightly different than the rest but the last stage, stage 9, will always be the same.
There are 2 types of space stages: one has gravity and other does not. Space stages with gravity are (example moon surface) exactly like ground stages but with a little less gravity.
Space stages without gravity are the classic stages typical of the series, you fight flying around space.

Mobile Suit Gundam Z: AEUG vs. Titans is 2 vs 2 arena fighter developed by Capcom and published by Banpresto in Japan in 2003 for Namco System 246. AEUG vs. Titans is the second game of the series. This game's mobile suits are based on Mobile Suit Gundam's first sequel, Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam; some suits from Federation vs. Zeon are also available. This game introduces the Hyper Combination system, which powers up both members of a team after a special gauge is filled. Up to 8 players can play at once.
