Based on your review, I immediately ordered the pants in black. These are absolutely awesome. I needed a pair of riding pants for the winter and found it right here. Rocky Mountain ATV is unbelievable. I ordered them in the morning and they shipped that day. Received the pants here in Oregon in a couple of days. These pants are worth every penny and they are in my budget. Thanks Ben for what you do for the riding community.

I rode about 100 miles in 80-90 degrees with the vents all open, and I was fine in this jacket. This was prior to acquiring the pants. I worked up a sweat getting on the bike in my 100 degree garage that day, then once I hit the highway it was pure bliss as the wind relished through the jacket cooling me off in a hurry. I love this set.

Best gear for dollar imo, coming from an ALL season winter snow, rain, humid summer, fall and spring in New England: Oxford. The Montreal Series and The Ankara Jacket. honestly i have 7 years straight with 2 Oxford Jackets, 2 oxford pants, 2 gloves snow and summer from them. It will not disappoint. do you though. spend 500$ on a klim if you want. but Oxford has lasted all 4 seasons for a minimum of 3 years a piece.

I have worked in the outdoor guiding and boating industry for 5 years, and I was waiting for someone to make proper shells for motorcycle gear.
I have an anorak made of a similar material that has lasted me 2000+ miles of hiking and canoeing, but it needed a proper windproof zipper and armor to be bike capable.

Joe rocket makes a 3 season jacket that has a mesh jacket that includes armor(foam), works too ask me how I know. I miss my bike. Air traffic controllers apparently can't watch out for motorcycles. They don't have wings lol. But the mesh jacket zips into a water proof shell and come with a warranty. My first one leaked through one of the chest vents and I took it back and got it replaced. Will buy another when I need it still have mine even after the crash. For pants I used frog toggs, just don't ride through brush with them.

Sucks that they don't make short sizes, not everyone that is big is also tall lol. Also note, there is no free return if you are switching items and not just sizes, learned this the hard way after I decided to try the pants. I have the jacket in XL.. it's tight across the shoulders and the sleeves are already too long so going up a size is not an option. Pants were a joke, the waist was half way up my torso and the legs were still too long..... In short this gear is designed for the skinny or tall folks.

I am typically only a Sunday rider in the summer here in Canada but ride more in Mexico during the winter. Is the protection of the Voyager material wise not pads as good as the Xplorer? I have seen the Xplorer in person a few days ago one of the guys on our week long ride had one but it would be nice to see them side by side to do a comparison. Hi Dork and Dork followers - especially those of you in Oregon. I need your help. I had been following the Wheeled Geezers www.youtube.com/@WheeledGeezer/videos as they road the TAT. Their last video was in Oregon three weeks ago. My understanding is that they (Scott and Jack) reached Oregon a bit early and were camping/riding until they met up with their families? Anyone have any update about them? They had been posting somewhat regularly until day 31 then the updates/videos stopped. I have no idea if they finished the trail etc. Even sent them a couple of notes via their video comments and received no reply. I'm just hoping they're okay. Thank you in advance for any updates.

Lol the crotch gusset. I have cheaper stuff that has been good. I know what feeling though water just pools in crotch when sitting and soaks through anyway.

And if you don't have a Hoodia for a mid layer you can buy a DITR Hoodie.

Are you saying that Rocky Mountain bought out MSR clothing line? You seem to be equivocating TUSK brand with this MSR brand…

MSR is now a rocky mountain brand like Tusk.

I went to Rocky Mountain, and I believe they only use PayPal, and I do not use PayPal, that’s a potential problem

They take credit cards, too. You don't have to use the paypal option.

@@DorkintheRoad I guess you don’t get to that part until you check out, but I did click check out, and the only option I saw was PayPal. But thanks for the info.

I have the Xplorer jacket and the voyager pant. I have nothing negative to say about the jacket after a year of riding the east coast, mainly in the PA wilds BDR area. I recently did 540 miles with my riding buddy as our last BDR trip of the year, and I bought the voyager pant because all I have are pants with removable “waterproof” liners…if you know, you know. They are never %100 waterproof.
Anyway; on our 3 day trip we had a day and a half of spectacular weather and a day and a half of miserable PA weather-flurries, cold, wet, 19° in the morning, lots of moisture in the freezing cold mountain air. I like the pants a lot, I bought them a size bigger in order to layer underneath them. There is no hip protection, although they advertise them with “hip padding” they are quarter inch hip shaped pads with a tiny strip of Velcro on them, that then attach to the inside of the pant, via Velcro, and I didn’t even bother attempting to use them. They are useless. So that kinda stinks, there are no hip pockets, to put pads inside either, just a miniscule strip of Velcro.
The included knee pads are very nice along with the rest of the pant. I love the quick closure system on the belt, all pants should be like this. I’m a 30 inseam and bought the 32” and had plenty of room to layer up and/or remove layers. They are over the boot pants, but you probably could use the third button on the bottom and tuck them into motocross boots. I did not get wet or chilly from the wind at any point. The pocket zippers are very nice, and big enough to fit a gloved hand inside. I have seen a lot of guys comment about needing suspenders, I would say to them you need to buy the right size pants. I’m a very thin man, and if I miss on any size of garment, I either sink or swim in it and I like my stuff to fit correctly without bibs.

Honestly, why are they not selling this in the Netherlands? Do they know it's rainy over here? Do they know Rev-It is Dutch? This will sell like hotcakes over here. We need affordable rain gear.

I paid 250 for the scorpion exo optima jacket for my CDT trip. worst jacket I have ever owned. not even close to being water resistant. like not even accidentally water resistant. uncomfortable. collar sits to high on the neck for riding. pockets blow out violently if you ride with the pocket slightly unzipped on accident. the HAWK ig ot from amazon for $40 was twice the jacket.

Personally I don’t like that jackets and pants come with armour.
IF people took the price of armour off the total cost it would be much better.
Both my wife and I ride with knee braces (we have a collection of knee armour in a box) She rides with upper body armour so all of her jackets have that removed too.
For us we will not throw it out for some reason as we paid for it. For reality for a lot of us, included armour is really just rubbish for landfill regardless of the CE rating.

What happened to you going back to the true reason you started this channel. You might as well put a sponsorship on top of every video. Seems like all you do is commercials now. I get you need to make a living here but it seems all you do anymore is commercials.
