Off the top of my head, someone was trying to get some good shots off people coming down the rapids and WHOOPS, he dropped it. OR....out of anger from dropping it on the rocks and cracking the lens, he chucks it in and walks away in a rage.

Oh yeah, a bunch of seasons ago on SURVIVOR they were in Palau and that is when I first learned of the lake with all the jellyfish. Video they showed was unreal. Simply amazing.

Definitely go to Palau. Season 10 of Survivor was there and a lot of world war planes and boats under water there
Oh the Jellyfish. There is a little cove in the Florida Keys close to Marathon with a bunch of little Jellyfish that don't sting either. That was back 20 years ago but it could still be there. You may want to look into that. I was there when I was going for my resort and dive instructor training. You could probably call one of the dive shop around Marathon and ask. Just a thought.

Canon 20D was released in 2004 at a MSRP of $1699. Today they can be bought for $79 on ebay.

The 20D is a 8 megapixle camera released back in 2004. You can get a used 20D on Ebay for a couple hundred dollars. I got a 50D with 2 batteries and a grip and newly replaced shutter for $350. So paying $1300 is getting ripped off. Cool find though. I have both a 30D and a 50D and would be crushed if that were mine. Maybe someone was rafting and thought "Oh I'm not going to drop the camera". Whoops
When he said "pictures or VIDEOS" I laughed. That thing is ancient but was amazing in it's day. I love my 7D, 80D and T6i and would be devastated to lose any of them

coffee is overrated I like my 50D also but it doesn't take video either. 😞
Yes, the 20D is very old now.... I started with the 350D... then 400D, 40D, 5d mkiii, 5dmkiv and a used 1d mkiv
I still have mine and mean to convert it to IR since it's my 5th DSLR but it's also fun bust out and use. There's a different style like the OG 1D.

Yeah it’s true that Palau has the best water and although I’m not from there there are 4 Micronesia there’s chuuk,it also has one of the best waters clear and clean but Palau has very clear and clean water,but Guam has a very very nice beach so pls visit…🤝

you have a 17-85 lens. you looked up the price on the 15-85. that camera is worth closer to 200. the battery in that camera cost more than that camera.

I have a few Canon Cameras. I got a used Rebel Xti first, 40D, 50D, 1Ds Mark III which got messed up so I got money back and got a 1Dx. Those were $7k a piece with no lens. I got a 7D and then ended up getting another 7D. I still have everything except the 1Ds Mark III. I have 3 L Glass lenses. 24 - 85mm 2.8L, 70 - 200mm 2.8L IS, 100 - 400mm 4-5.6L IS. Then I have some Gold Rim lenses. I had a photography business. Now I travel around and take Landscape and Animal photos. I would love to dive some of the springs down in Florida. I’ve been to Morrison Spring and cave diving in Vortex Spring. It was super fun. Didn’t treasure hunt though. But thanks for doing what you do. It’s inspiring.
