This seems to be very underrated song ( Burden in the hand)... Chris Cornell another fricken solid SINGER and songwriter and his vocal range... Dam! He was "The Man Of The Hour" Have a good one ✌ G.K 🙂
Soundgarden are like the accumulation of everything good about hard rock/metal/punk/psychedelic rock/stoner rock all rolled into one and never sounds forced. The sum of their parts, never trying to outshine the other only in it for the music and what music it was🔥
He was so shy all the way through out his career, he ALWAYS starts out so shy and unsure of himself, then by the second or third song depending on the audience's reaction he would open up and blow up the outside world indeed. I love you and miss you so very much. See you on the other side of the super unknown brother.
@@Attaboy1111 not really unreleased recordings i think they clearly stated songs they were working on before his death so not older recordings they haven't released iif that's what you meant
I’ll never forget the amazing experience of hearing Chris live. He had a truly epic and powerful voice that I’ll never forget! R.I.P. Chris Cornell!! 😓🌹
I've seen these guys from day one at the Central T to now in many ways, shape and forms. it still blows my mind how they did always put a ton into everything they did, with respect to the customer, the listener, their fans.
The thing I love about Soundgarden is the fact that everyone in the band contributed to the writing process. Also Chris was not the best Guitar player out there but these guys were all about The Song. Sounding cool was what mattered to them. Most bands today are all about showing how amazing they are at playing instead of caring about the sound.
Soundgarden are the best band of all time. All 4 members are geniuses. I got to see Soundgarden live a decade ago almost and they didn't play anything from Down On The Upside, Burden In My Hand and Blow Up The Outside World I would have loved to have heard live. RIP Chris Cornell, RIP Soundgarden.
Chris was on point in this one, my god. Singers with this kinda range are pretty hit and miss so when you find a live clip with great intonation it's a goddamn keeper!!
Did you just use “hit and miss” and Chris Cornell in the same sentence? You can look here on TH-cam, every performance is perfect or damn near. He doesn’t miss. Ever.
I remember being Wowed! First time i saw this, guitars sound was crushin' and edgy, amazing performance, guess it was nov 96, At the beginning Kim said "Still are Soundgarden ', somehow he was foretellin 'the end was near, God i miss Chris!
This is so cool. Back when MTV had real musicians on their station. I remember watching back in 1996 when it was on TV. It was always a treat when you got to watch something cool on MTV. With TH-cam now you can pretty much get everything on demand if you miss anything. Well back in my day if you missed or didn't record it with your VCR then you were SOL. Lol. I really miss the 1990s though I don't care what anyone says. What an amazing decade for music. Rock bands are obsolete now. after the already famous bands go away Rock will be Completely gone 100%. Makes me shed a tear. The old way was so awesome back then. When bands actually got paid.
Everything Chris Cornell touched and ever did, turned to diamonds and gold and platinum, pure genius talent sex ROCK AND ROLL. Rest in peace brother and Saint Cornell of ROCK AND ROLL.
The most mystical "Magical Mystery Tour" eclipsing the Beatles. Smoother, genius musicians so what Kim said was Chris's higher truth.Music does not get better than this.
i love how weird, quirky and silly they are in interviews, and the fact that they all match outfits except Matt, lol, i love all of this, the music is other level great and the intermissions are funny as heck

I remember when MTV only played music 24 hours a day and after 12am ALL the really great sexually explicit content or controversial songs were played well after 12am. I remember all of running home after school to call 1800dialmtv to request our favorite rock bands and it didn't matter how many millions of people calling they still would NOT play certain controversial songs until after midnight, Jesus Christ pose was boycotted and we boycotted MTV. Crazy stuff.
The most rad band to ever walk the planet in my eyes.

Lol , I like this comment because you said rad
‘Rad’ is a very underused adjective. This video is super f*cking rad. 🤘🏻

Literally runs circles around the record edit. They perfected it!
It's the definitive live version.
It's first class.

I think this is their best ever performance, it should most definitely be released as an album. Timeless
What genius sounds like.
Greatest recording of group I've ever heard !! Many of their live performances are close , but this is my FAVORITE!!!

Al final las bandas grunge de los 90 fueron tocando otros géneros y a los fans no les gustó ,por eso dejaron de tener éxito
Too bad genius' end their lives...genius?
