You said you had 12v but 12v? But 12.8 or above is a good battery

i think these heaters are balanced.
you need inlet and out let pipe on the machine.
seems like the inlet and out let are 90cm.

My burner green light comes on stays on till the click then goes out. Think I might be better off buying a cheap diesel heater.

I have exactly the same problem with my unit - did you get anywhere with fixing it?

Alan Lane as in you scrapped it? Mine has worked occasionally but almost always never when you want it. My uncle has a slightly larger propex unit and said that he was told to replace the flame sensor with an updated version which contains no moving parts. Apparently the old design was flawed and was commonly found to cause problems. He said that vacuuming the hoses to remove any obstructions wasn't to blame with his, the sensor was spinning freely, but the actual detector was knackered. Unfortunately propex charged for the replacement (£50ish?) and he fitted it himself...

Adam Zienkiewicz also... its still a mystery why the unit doesn't show any error flashes for this problem

Thanks mate. I've chattd to propex and they've told me it sounds like it's the ignition unit (as I'm not hearing any clicking to indicate it trying to light). Fixable at least!
