    Yes it is always nice to find both gold and silver. It doesn't matter that there small finds because they are high quality finds. Great job. GL&HH.

      Dog beach always has targets sometimes they are good, Lol! Yes I read off 999fs, even though I know that is silver I thought it was a battery number for a second. Thank you!

    Do you ever pack a lunch or are the restaurants close by?

    • @funwithjim
      @funwithjim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      always pack snacks, water and sometimes lunch. Yes, all the beaches have restaurants near by except the Trestles, certainly packing lunch when I go there. I also know many of the restaurants owners so they usually give me a local discount. lol!

    New to this treasure hunt, is there a way you can explain the scanning numbers on the screen and what they signify? Will gold reading be different than silver and any other metal.

    • @funwithjim
      @funwithjim  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The numbers assist in identifying your target, every machine is a little different in the VDI numbers. Low numbers are low tones and high numbers are high tones. Low tones are GOLD (bottle caps, nickels, foil) High tones SILVER (aluminum, copper and other high conductivity metals) I hope that helps. Thank you 🤙

    Stop rubbing the pendant with your fingers. The sand will scratch it. And use the water to clear the sand out of your digger

      Perhaps it was part of a custom collar for a large dog that loved to swim?
