    This is the most accurate lubrication for Glock videos on TH-cam , exactly as the manual says. Maybe just a bit big oil drop on the slide but perfect way to oil a Glock . Kudos !

      Thanks for the comment! And you're right, I got a little overzealous with the oil in one spot!

    I have this like black grease that we used to grease guns with in the army in Switzerland. Like we use it to maintain the sg550 for example. Do you think I can use that on the Glock as well? I don’t see why not but maybe there is some caveat?

    From what I’ve learned I’m pretty sure your not supposed to oil any of trigger components I may be wrong but it’s what I’ve been told

    do u have to clean the gun and then lube it?? or can i jus lube the glock i havent bought anything to clean it with its fairly new and only been thru 400 rounds

    • @lambdaindustries5675
      @lambdaindustries5675  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You should definitely clean it after 400 rounds to remove the carbon build up and keep it safe. This process would be done after cleaning.

    What 9 mm ammo(grain) do you find works best for you or anyone who has a glock 19?

    • @lambdaindustries5675
      @lambdaindustries5675  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Honestly, with the way things are with ammo right now, I’d say take what you can get, but if you are just looking for range/practice ammo, the 115 grain ammo works just fine. For self defense, there are too many options to list but I would go with something heavier.

    • @jackmemphis777
      @jackmemphis777 ปีที่แล้ว

      When it comes to both FMJ and hollow points, I prefer 147 grain. Its usually more difficult to find 147gr ammo but its usually subsonic so it works well with my wolfman suppressor and I like the way heavier 9mm shoots (suppressed or unsuppressed, I like the sound and feel of 147gr the best). For a good balance of velocity and energy, 124gr is the best. 115gr is fine for target practice if thats all you can find, but I would go with 124gr for the most energy and power. When it comes to hollow points there are so many options but test them out if possible. Since you have a glock, it will likely shoot any ammo you put in it, but the point of impact may change. Ive never personally had any brand of ammo, fmj or HP, not work in my Glocks. It eats everything you feed it. My UDP-9 on the other hand, will not feed most hollow points.

      Note; most gun makers; 9mm use the 124gr to R&D models. This is because NATO spec is 124 gr & many police, armed forces buy 124gr JHP or FMJ in bulk. I myself use mostly bonded style JHP +P 9mm. 124gr. Speer Gold Dot, HST, Golden Saber: bonded.

    I have a glock 43x and my question is should you clean and lubricate it every time you shoot it even if it's just you just shoot one mag

    • @bigclen6456
      @bigclen6456 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No you don't have to it'll run fine.

    • @lambdaindustries5675
      @lambdaindustries5675  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed it isn’t necessary after shooting just a few rounds. If nothing else, it might be worth doing every few months though just to get into the habit and be more familiar with the mechanics of the gun.

      Use your judgement. 🔍 If your ccw Glock gets dirty, has dirt-grit-dust-mud all over it, clean it. If it's clear, no rust or function problems, it's ok.

  • @joeblanton2582
    @joeblanton2582 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Are you supposed to take the trigger mechanism out to legit clean it?

    • @lambdaindustries5675
      @lambdaindustries5675  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You certainly can, but for basic lubrication you really don’t need to. If you shoot a lot or get a lot of build up, that is a great idea though.

    • @DavidLLambertmobile
      @DavidLLambertmobile 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Many Glock armorers, PDs, Sheriffs say to do a full cleaning-check every 3000-5000 rounds or 1x per year.

      Sorry for the slow reply. For this I used some generic Gunslick lube. I have moved away from that and am now using Clenzoil and like it better.

    The Glock lube myth drives me insane. I was trained to shoot operate qualify about everything during Vietnam time frame, US Army. If you over lube a glock...(1) It won't explode (2) you haven't damaged it (3) you don't need to hold your head in shame (4) it won't attract dirt (unless you put in the dirt and shovel dirt on it). However it doesn't take much lube. so use less.. if you use more... don't tell a "Glock" enthusiast they will act like you castrated your child. I try to avoid them. I like Glocks, M1911s etc. I watched a guy show me on YT how to lube a Glock without over lubing. The idiot used far more Lube than I would heavily lubing. Enjoy your life, buy Glocks, Over lube them Like I do!!! Just to Fk with them!!! You will be just fine!!! You bought the Glock, lube it like you want to

    Shame on you for the loaded magazine! Rule # one NO AMMO on cleaning table! First timers take note. Never have live ammo on the same table when cleaning your Rifle, pistol or revolver. Lambda please redo video minus the loaded magazine.
