A couple months ago I reviewed the little brother of this now fully-grown PRO multi effects unit, and I was shocked how good it sounded for the price. Everything that was good on that is now just more and better on this one, hear it for yourself…
Cool video! I could hear subtle differences in tone with the Blues Breaker and OCD pedals - even through a cellphone speaker. But the differences are just that: subtle. And, it really also depends on the player and the guitar used. That said, I'm planning on getting one of these units as soon as I sell my Pod Go.
I own the pro? I love the sounds, the quality of build, and even moreso how my tele makes every darn preset sound magical - excellent review! I LOVE IT and KEEP LEARNING SO MUCH! ♥️♥️♥️
Wow! Very impressive! The AMP sounds are incredible! The pedal emulations are also really good. I think the biggest difference was with the BluesBreaker pedal, but maybe it can be modified a bit to sound even closer to the real one...
About year ago I purchased MB2. From all of those reviews it sounded little better to me than other budget units. I love it so much I couldn't resist and got first one as well for trip to Europe. Now , thanks to BF sale the MB2pro arrived last weekend. Still have to play with it more, but those presets are sounding much better than on MB2. I like new feature where you can add multiple same effects, amps or cabs. It just opens more options for creativity. I just wish the Sonicake comes with new firmware to fix the octaver.
@@ToneChaseBasement Out of the box experience was a little better, otherwise similar. For example I didn't have to adjust Noise gate with the same guitar. But it is too early I didn't have much time to play with it.
Great video! Reeeeally curious if it actually has more processing power than the predecessor and how it compares to other competitions like the new boss pedal and such. I guess it would be pretty hard to a real comparison... Unless someone knows a ton about chips and were willing to take apart the pedals lol
@ToneChaseBasement hmmm now that I think, I suppose it's about what to expect since it's only like 70 bucks more than the mb2. And maybe it's a pretty decent deal considering the goodies like the screen, buttons, di out and such!

@@terroman1000 Thanks mate🙌 I really appreciate you checking it out!
I just received mine a couple of weeks ago. Very nice unit indeed!
it definitely is ☝️
I've had my MB2Pro for a couple of weeks now. It's brilliant. I did have the original MB2 beforehand which is also extremely impressive for the price.
yup, same here... couldn't agree more🤘
Sonicake is a great brand!
yes they are
Thanks for comparation with real pedals. It shows in reallity how good (or bad) the pedal emulations are.
that was my point to do 🙂
Dude opens sound test session with the Chilli Peppers best song! Nice!
of course mate ❤️😀
