@@bellotialex Okay thanks, yeah, maybe he could have gleaned something from that if he was actually looking at him. I guess that's why a lot of players wear shades. The eyes can give off tells. Perkins while not a bad player in his own right these days, was just a recreational rich guy. So it doesn't entirely surprise me he's a bit nervy in this sort of event.

daniel makes it out to be a bigger fold than it is. 9 high flush on such a coordinated board with one better and another caller? straightforward fold in tournament play IMO

you sound like a High School Basketball player who thinks he can play with the pros because he's the best High School player in the State. This are High Level Tournament , you'll mind will melt playing with guys , like playing chess against a computer.
Also the chances that two people have a flush, plus the combinations of hands that could have been suited + the chances that those suited cards are the suits on the board are slim.

Around 27:00 - that hand perfectly showed ITS WRONG TO HEAVY RAISE STRONG DRAWS. Now instead of calling 60k, he must call 600, and instead of 200k on turn, he has to call the shove (915k). If you have such strong draw, theres a high probability some of other players already made a strong hand.
Man this show is so good, I literally stopped playing a game and now binging this for 3 hours. I dont know why I didnt discover this sooner.

What a fkn terrible play by Rajkumar against Perkins. I mean why would you call the flop if you gonna call all in on the turn regardless (maybe unless the board pairs). At least give him the chance to fold and put him all in on the flop.
yea should've shoved when perkins re-raised, pretty standard in tournament play. but rajkumar is mostly a cash game player don't think he's well prepared for situations like these

At 18.00 approx, we can see why perky not a pro and no understsnding of gto, he actually says TT is a fold to single open lol?
It was based on his chip stack. It wasn't enough to set mine and he thought from the other player's position he had hands strong enough to already be ahead of tens or he was flipping at best.
Any guess, the last two standing will make a deal?

Luck evens out dan smith is a beast one of best tournament players in the world! Perkins used to be a whale, then at this stage he was just a fish , now he has improved ten fold and would be winning player at most stakes, his heads up game has improved hugely too, cang forget he is very intelligent man

Do you mean he's improved? You would too if you were frequently playing for hundreds of thousands of dollars against the best players in the world. He must have lost a small fortune but it's been an education for him and he could afford it. Playing against the best in the world for big money, you can't help but improve massively providing you've got a decent brain as he obviously has as he's a very successful entrepreneur and investor. However while he's clearly improved his game, he's still no where near pro standard. Some of his decisions in this look really dodgy, like he's not aware of where he is. In this tourney I think he just got lucky a lot as well.
