Lol oh the day, sadly only thing I see in the future is the use of plant boss monsters that don’t lock you into plants/can’t be summoned if you already summoned a non plant, oh and BIG KING REGULUS
Looks like traptrix is the go to for archetype combos with this. I watched some traptrix raika combos recently and its disgustingly good

I think it was everyone´s favorite Railcar Rata that said something like -Snake rain is just waiting for one good reptile card to get banned (Paraphrasing)
Might Need a couple more tbh, reptile archetypes love to lock you into reptiles and if you try and avoid it you just end up not having a full engine
@Grimsly3736 only 3 useable cards lock and nunu is only whilst face up so easy to get over. All we need is a good rank8 or lv10/12 synchro. But with everyone using evol+zeroll lock(boring play), we probably won't get a rept boss anytime soon.

Honestly whatever there missing can be given back besides barrier statue, the Simorgh Link is 100% ok to give them for example, summoning 1 Apex Avian will not break Tri-Brigade but bring them back to rogue maybe
Samurai Beetle was achetype version of Insect knight and Mantis monk was achetype version of Dreadscythe harvester
They absolutely ruined it by calling them Ragnaraika instead of just keeping their original JP names
We got Tri type, Beast Beast Warrior Winged Beast
Fry type, Aqua Fish Sea Serpent
Recently got support for Psy type, Psychic Cyberse Machine
Now Pri type (needs name that rhymes) Plant Reptile Insect
I hope we get Die type, Zombie Dinosaur Wyrm

*Fun fact:* The archetype represents decomposers. Animals on the food chain that common eat dead things (forget rats and vultures).
Plants and insects, sure, but I don't think reptiles eat dead things anymore than birds or carnivorous mammals do.
@@makokx7063Very few carnivorous reptiles hunt their own food. Snakes are the only exception I can think of.

Crocodilians, a HUGE member of carnivorous reptiles, are possibly the most famous/successful hunters to have ever lived.
Turtles hunt fish. Snapping turtles even have a tongue to look like a worm to attract fish.
Carnivorous lizards hunt all manner of insects.
Even reptiles that may scavenge, like the Komodo dragon, still hunt.

I mean yeah I guess the new Gandora works with the old ones but sadly this is a “Shining Sarcophagus” Monster that mostly is suppose to be a field wipe, Be cool to see another generic Gandora Monster tho

That’s because their meta sheep. They won’t touch or look at a deck like this until it tops and then they hop on it. They won’t even bother experimenting with it.

Just based on design, this is my favorite archetype featured in legacy. I’m excited to try to figure it out.

I love them! They will help my venom deck very well. I know it’s an outdated deck but it’s very fun for casuals, hopefully one day they will get more support like alien did.

The reason why I opted a more pure build Snake Eye build instead of the Fire King mash was because the Fire King artwork/aesthetic just didn’t click with me. Didn’t when they were introduced and hasn’t now.
The Snake Eye lore and artwork really does pull you in and being meta relevant was a bonus. Branded/Albaz are also a seriously cool archetype aesthetically, lore and game style wise.
Can’t say the same for Raika. They just look so bland to me and plays like a generic engine that can seriously spam to generate advantage. But I think their optimum power would be highly dependent on other engines it is paired with.
For now, since there's a lack of meta cards for the three types, it's not that popular at the ocg, they got a new generic support tho
I think they have tons of potential, but not much else until we get more support. They seem pretty similar to tri-brigade on thier tri-type, link spam style. Plants give you a lonefire and predaplant engine too. Traptrix also work, since they're plant and insect
Really wish there's more support with suship archetypes and the live⭐ twin.

why must use Sunavalon route if Raika have they own route? just turbo Rosemary, get blend, place bless wind, ss rosalina. bounce rosemary, ss other marikobe. so you have 2 jasmin to triger.
