It’s a slight dim. Being out in the sun, yeah it makes it rough, but if you find shade or use your body as shade and can see something slightly dim, you are fine
I’m in my house, lights all on in the room I’m in and my brightness is at 10%, maybe 15%. It’s not that bad and I like the dim of the screen. Easier on the eyes

I think Your supposed To Disable or *Turn* *OFF* the _AUTO BRIGHT_ & _EYE_ _COMFORT_ FEATURES on your device. Otherwise your screen turns into a black hole for itself & moving the phone into a brighter environment just makes it worse.
I change my phone screen to red and lower brightness to confuse anyone trying to read from my phone. Since there’s no blue or green light, many are not used to looking at it, it’s jarring. And the lack of blue light makes it less obvious I’m looking at my phone due to no reflection. And lowering brightness all the way.

Don't know if this is still relevant, but yes, it pixilated because that's the technology of the privacy screen protector, which doesn't allow light to pass through after a certain viewing angle, hence it being "privacy" protector.

I am a frequent gamer of high graphics mmorpgs. Privacy screens will not work with me. So I always use HD clear screen protectors. I just maintain discipline on where and how to safely use my mobile phone.

Not worth it they make it hard to see even head on. If you’re outside with the screen brightness to the max they crack easily. I’ve had my phone for less than a week and it started cracking from the left hand side of the dynamic island all the way downto the middle right half of my phone you’d be better off getting a real good tempered screen protector the privacy ones are not worth it

It is probably that particular one, it’s a bad privacy screen protector as a good one is supposed to turn completely black. It could however be that you haven’t turned it far enough.

They are using lines in it similar to a fresnel lens that makes it so that light can't pass through from the sides but only looking straight at it. Shouldn't be that bad in person up close but that is why.

Yep, I dodged the bullet. I expected the glass to be darker, but it's way more darker. Rather have the normal glass
