We just used 550 cord to loop it around and hold it.

Whoa... easy there fella, quite a load you got there.... xD jk
Nice tip, good method if you don't want to tamper with anything. Worked best for me, used tie wraps to keep the tab down... works like a charm where you'd think Husqvarna did it on purpose.
You sir, are my new best friend for today!!

Did you have to tear the seat switch out of where it’s mounted to get the wire tie On the button to keep the button pressed in?

At the connector you should see 3 color coded wires Black, Green, and a Gray wire with the black looped to 2 terminals. Cut the gray wire. Then add male/female connectors in case you ever want it back. In the even the wires are different colors. It is the wire farthest away from the one that is double looped.

We just got a used one and every time we try to turn on the blades the whole thing shuts down. Any suggestions

Make sure to turn the key back one notch. It's probably thinking that it's in reverse. There should be a little black flap that pushes inward when it goes into reverse. Make sure it's not hung up telling the blades that it's in reverse.

I just replaced a lot on mine , plugs, coils every safty switch starter , been working on it for a while , it's a YTA 24V48 and it finally starts! But when I release the parking brake it wants to die ! I'm having a WTF moment !

Mine dies give me trouble often just recently it won't stay running white smoke from too much gas when it stalls ill try this but I have to shake my ass around to get it right. Lol aside from loud grinding I hear when clutch is engaged. I think it's just 2 loud pullys

Safety stuff is there to prevent a terrible tragedy. No one plans to ever be forgetful or negligent. It happens when we least expect it. Some people lost kids or feet to make them put this feature on it.

    Pull the seat sensor out.
Drill 3 holes on outer edges
    Depress sensor
    Put in cotter key
    Bend to keep sensor tight
    Reinstall
Bee careful it will run all the time, with no one on seat.
