    So this tutorials was created back in 2014 i decided to remake the tutorial since the old video was a bit crap...not that this isnt but anyways .
    You might notice that some things dont make sense in the video like.
    When i drill the pipe its silver
    then i show a white on in the video. the safety pin changes from a bobby pin to a nail ., You can see that with the motor too, That is because i used old footage of the original video from 2014 .
    You can use anything you want to power it, I had that old fan laying around so i used that, Use whatever you find more reliable.
    In upcoming video i will show you how to make grinding media for your ball mill ,
    Took a lot of work to make this, From making the actual ball mill to editing ,rendering the video 35 times because i had to re adjust some things. and get the best rendering settings I Tried some new settings too which should give me faster upload time .
    about 6 hours of editing went into this
    around 35 minutes of rendering
    and more than 5 hours of uploading on youtube.
    You can show some support by simply clicking the subscribe button . When i finally reach 100 subscriber i will be able to make a custom youtube url .
    And if you actually read all that,Well thank you!
    Music by kareful.
    Thanks for watching more videos to come!!

    Thumbs up. I liked it because you used all you could from the fan, the motor, the wiring, the switches and even the rubber feet, plus can be made with the minimum of tools. I get fed up seeing these professional workshops making things out of so called scrap or left overs when there is too much material to be so and showing of their latest high tech tool.

    You can use an electronic variable speed controller for fans up to 250W ,is mine and I control the speed of my fan.

      well you can change the speed of the motor ,

    whats the can material? do the balls make sparks with a metal can?

    • @Zakamooza
      @Zakamooza  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No they dont make sparks, I use lead balls , or fishing weights .
      the grinding jar is made of tin, which would not be suitable for many uses as its very thin and it can break apart,

  • @darktermi1993

    What speed is recommended? I'm looking for a 300rpm motor but i dunno if it has to be faster or slower

    Hello what is maximum quantity black powder u can do with that ball mill ??

    • @Zakamooza
      @Zakamooza  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on how big you build it , and what kind of jar you use, I can fill the whole container with black powder and still runs perfect , making about 500g of bp

      Zakamooza can you tell me this : why didnt you put cooling fan behind the motor if you use it (whitout motor) it can burn!!

    • @Zakamooza
      @Zakamooza  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      good point , i have thought of doing that before , but because it didnt have one in the first place, i decided not to put one.

    • @Zakamooza
      @Zakamooza  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wanted to inform you , I now use a small fan to cool the motor, stays cool to the touch even after 8 hours of milling . thanks for suggesting this :) thumbs up

    Hello, Zaka! Can i use Steel balls for miling or only lead? I understand that steel can spark. I just have a lot of steel balls, maybe if i cover them with aluminum foil, they won't spark?

    • @TheWingnut58
      @TheWingnut58 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NO! Do NOT use steel balls, not even covered by anything.....
      Use ONLY lead, brass or marbles...
