It's being sold as compatible with the newer 80D. f you plan on using for the 80D please check reviews, I noticed a fair amount of complaints that certain functions don't work on this grip.
How sturdy is the baseplate tripod mount? I saw in another review of a generic that was partly plastic inside compared to the Canon, which is a bit concerning. Any issues?
@@TrentDangphoto great video, I’ve just purchased one of Amazon. The canon original grip £240 with one battery. I paid £54 for the Neewer grip. I was worried about the quality as it’s so cheap. I’m happy now I’ve watched your vid👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you😉😎👍🏻
Yes it does. Shows battery life, number of cycles, health. If you go to the battery menu in your camera with the grip attached. Shows you the info for both batteries.
Does your camera's main dial still works when the grip's power is on. Mine works if it's off, but if I turn it on, the camera's main dial stop working but the battery grip's main dial works. Only one works. It's kinda annoying. Are you experiencing the same thing?
It's weird. When I put out the switch to on, the camera's main dial is not responsive, but the grip's main dial works. But when I switch it to off, the camera's main dial works again. I shoot manual a lot and use the main dial to change settings. It's kinda annoying that it doesn't work. Maybe I got a defective one and will return. Thanks for the confirmation that yours works both at the same time
honestly these knockoff products are'nt worth bothering with, using cheap inferior products like this will practically destroy your confidence in persuing your hobby aswell as invalidate your warrenty with new products these are poorly made and won't last. unlike the genuine item. i have tried and tested these items for years and wasted lots of money. i now invest only in quality. i am by no means plush with cash, but i am persistent in buying into quality for very good reason.
Wow this guy is amazing he is so smart. He is such a great photographer
Does ur camera have a front after u put the battery grip?

Works great, has all the same features as the Canon grip, and is about $200 cheaper than the Canon grip on Amazon!
Using the Neewer grip, does it show the battery 🔋 percentage and health?
Demiflip it only has battery life.
Yes it does. Shows battery life, number of cycles, health. If you go to the battery menu in your camera with the grip attached. Shows you the info for both batteries.
Does it fit to the 60D?
No it dosn't bro, they both use different ones
any difference from the canon one? its like 1/4 the price, any reason?
3rd party are usally made of poly carbonate and the canon ones are made of magnesium alloy. So canons are higher quality.
+Timi oh, so for a person like me that drops the camera every second , i should buy the canon?
Amit H
Yes
lol thanks
+Amit H why would you use difference brand if you already have canon brand. lol

All camera buttons should be working regardless if the grid is on or off.

which lens is attached to the camera?
Sabinhang Limbu 24-105 f4 L.
Do all of the batteries come with the grip?
Depends on who you buy from.
Zach Blackburn not in the neewer version
I notice a substantial lag (about one sec) when I press the shutter button on this grip. Canon Eos 80d :(
Andrea RN I’m thinking of buying for MY 80D, are you still experiencing the issue? Would you recommend I still get it?
Jake Hicks it’s hit or miss with the 80d, it depends on what you need it for
Wow... lets pass out on this one. Let me get into my lounge chair first.
hey buddy does my 80d fit on it?
According to the spec it does.
Zach Blackburn No battery is included with this grip.
Excellent Review
Dude buy a mic.
The way you keep fiddling with that “tab” makes me want to punch something. Maybe that’s why your other one failed.. leave it like
thank you ...
