I have the exact same model and the exact same problem. I was ready to drive it to the recycling depot, but then I tried your fix and IT’S WORKING AGAIN! I’m going to run some water and vinegar through it and then enjoy my morning coffee! Thank you!
This exact same thing happened to me this morning. I figured I couldn't be the only one after all of these years with my Keurig so I Googled the issue, wound up here, and BAM! You solved it for me. Worked first time - like a charm. Thank you for sharing!
You are a lifesaver!!!! I was two seconds from throwing it away because I literally tried everything and nothing worked. I did this and it finally worked, thank you so much
Oh man!!! I gave up trying to find a solution to this problem and just mothballed my machine for about 2 years. After clearing out my storage I thought I'd do a bit more research before I chunked the thing. Tried this and now its working like a hose...Who knew a simple procedure could yield such results. Thanks...
OMG thank you!!!! Keurig started doing this a couple weeks back, everyone else just talks about cleaning coffee out of the needle. This was exactly what our machine needed! Don't know why this video didn't come up first in previous searches...maybe I slightly modified sentence structure this time on google search 😂
Thanks man! This was the third video & the only technique that worked, got it going enough at least so that I could descale properly! I consider myself a bit of a Keurig expert, but I was stumped this time. Even using bottled water, they will scale up, they do add minerals to bottled water. It’s just less scaling than tap water! 👍🏽
Thank you, thank you! My wife doesn’t drink coffee and the person in that position she’s in now before her had a Keurig for only a couple of months BUT my wife has been in that position a little over a year now. I just thought “ah man, it’s a lost cause and it’s no good!” You resurrected this Keurig for me! Thank you!!!!
This worked for me, thanks. My machine was unplugged and when I plugged it back in, nothing. No pumping, no action at all. We have very soft water hear near Seattle and not many minerals. I've only had the machine a short time so I doubt it was scaled up inside. I tried disconnecting the power again, poking buttons but nothing. Was all lit up and said ready to brew but nothing happened when you pushed the brew button. After following the procedure in the video, she worked fine. Thanks again.
Thank you, shaking it a bit worked. The person that handed it down to me uses tap water and I use High alkaline. So maybe I'll go ahead and clean it with vinegar too. I'd like to note that I had hit brew several times but it did not pour out more than 1 cup of water after it finally worked.
Yay, it worked! I did have to give a little ‘pop’ to the top of the machine first, which I actually did out of frustration because it at first didn’t seem to have worked. Lest one think that ‘pop’ was all that was needed, I had actually done it before trying your method. Thank you so much for this video!
I was craving a late night cofee so i decided to wip out my good ol friend hat has been in storage for a while, saw that it turned on normal until it came to brewing! A few upside down taps (2 times after plugging it in and not working)and shakes and turning it off for 30 min worked for me!! Thank you!!!
Just so anyone watching this knows. It works! I tried cleaning out the exit tubes with a paper clip among other troubleshooting methods (i.e. cleaning the mesh filter in the reservoir) but nothing worked. After a couple of shakes over the sink and running water+vinegar through it (and repeating the shake method a few times) it started running again.
Wow! Thank you! Worked for me too, much to my surprise! Mine sat in the cabinet for a couple years thinking I’d send it in, eventually, for repair. Glad I looked one more time online for a “fix”!
This worked for me exactly as you show in the video, right down to needing an extra cup to catch all of the water afterward. Thanks! This saved me from having to go into the machine.
I rarely comment on videos but I just wanted to say thank you. Your trick worked. After that I ran half water half white vinigar through the machine to clean it out.
OMG! It worked! I had to shake and bang it twice, but the second time, I got coffee! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. I actually walked away to grab some vinegar, came back and my coffee mug was full. Shocked the hell out of me. LOL! Thank you! You rock! ❤️
Thanks for this. I tried it and thought it didn't work, because i just shook it. Followed your advice and banged it all around, and it works. Thankful for your response and the creators video, because i called customer service outside of office hours and was about to cry going to the store to replace it. Now I'm going to the store for some descaling solution.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! My Keurig hasn't worked for months and I keep trying different things and different videos and your video made it work again!!!!
I thought "There's literally no way this is going to work" but I was desperate to try anything to avoid buying a new one. Holy shit, it works. It really works!
I'm surprised to say, this actually worked. I was attempting to de-scale my Keurig B70 which had been sitting around unused, but with water in it, for a few months. No matter what I tried I could not get it to spit out water when I clicked "Brew". I good hard shake upside down (with power unplugged) did the trick. I have now been able to get it to siphon vinegar through it to descale it. Now to siphon through a boat load of clean water to get rid of the vinegar taste and smell.
Thank you. I did shake it from awhile and then, everything worked as you said. Thank you. I tried with other videos and yours was the best. I couldn't fit the pin into any hole. No pin needed, just a good shaking.
Okay I just bought another keurig second hand and I tried this even though I swore it wouldn’t work, and just when I thought it didn’t, the water started brewing finally 😂 going to buy vinegar to clean further but this totally does work thank you for sharing!
You are the absolute boss. Saved my morning, brother. Thought I was about to have throw out Old Faithful. Been using her for, what, like seven years? Maybe 8?
I also didn’t think this would work, but it did! It took 2 tries. The first time I didn’t shake it vigorously enough. The 2nd time I shook it until water started pouring out, slightly burning my arm. Be careful if you try this. But it does work!
I found the nozzle (where the puncture point is) was clogged by fine coffee grounds. Reamed it out with a big paper clip and flushed it out a few times. Not the same model as this one. I guess ground’s got into the reservoir and into the pump somehow over a year or more. Make sure your water is clear when refilling.
It worked thank you so much! I tried other suggestions and when they didn’t work, I thought I was gonna have to buy a new one. I was sad because Mine was over $200
It took a few tries, but mine's finally working again. Another video suggested plugging that rubber thing to no avail. Now I'm just putting it through several rinse cycles to get all the gunk out.
Mine is not making gurgling noise either suggestions? I’m in California too but changed filter and used cleaner cup last month when it was just barely dripping. I’ve done your suggestion and it’s just dribbling a couple tablespoons through descaling cup it is 10 years old and I’ve always been able to trouble shoot.
Just saved me! I've watched multiple videos and banging on it actually worked. Thank you. And women think were crazy for banging on our TVs, game consoles, remotes, etc...
So yes this actually worked. I was like yeah ok turn it upside down and beat it, yeah ok. But it actually did work. My Keurig was only flashing on cup size and wouldn't even suck down water. So not the same exact issues as the one in the video but close enough and it worked
I have the exact same model and the exact same problem. I was ready to drive it to the recycling depot, but then I tried your fix and IT’S WORKING AGAIN! I’m going to run some water and vinegar through it and then enjoy my morning coffee! Thank you!

ugh just found this as my new keurig arrived. i’ll keep my old one also. i’ll use a decalcifier moving forward
Gotta be honest, I thought this had about a 0% chance of working. Thanks!
Lmfao me too but it worked
I'll join the "what the heck let's try it" club. Mine started doing this while I was trying to descale it. Giving it a good shake worked.
You are a lifesaver!!!! I was two seconds from throwing it away because I literally tried everything and nothing worked. I did this and it finally worked, thank you so much
Thanks man, our machine was not used for 2 years and this fixed it! You're the man!

Oh my gosh, I thought I had to replace my Keurig....Thanks to you I don't! It worked like a charm. Thank you so so much!
I am so excited and glad I didn't throw away my Keurig away. This WORKED. Thank You very much .
OMG! It worked! I had to shake and bang it twice, but the second time, I got coffee! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. I actually walked away to grab some vinegar, came back and my coffee mug was full. Shocked the hell out of me. LOL!

Woohoo!!! It worked. I watched a number of videos that suggested other fixes that didn’t help, but this one did it. Thank you!

I tried all the other you tube videos, yours actually worked for me. Thanks
Tried de-scaling with vinegar, still didn't work. BUT can also confirm this just worked, remarkable! Saved $125 from buying a new one. TY!
Had to do your method twice, it worked on the second try! Thank you!
Thank you! I had mine sitting for like two years and I wanted to start using it again and it’s working! Just by doing what you did thank you
Omg!!! It actually worked!!! I was so damn bummed that it had stopped working and was looking into buying another one
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! THIS WORKED. I WAS ALMOST READY TO THROW OUT MY MACHINE AND BUY A NEW ONE.
You are AWESOME!!!!!!!! My dad almost threw it at me for breaking his keurig. Triple thumbs up to you.
Thank you. I did shake it from awhile and then, everything worked as you said. Thank you. I tried with other videos and yours was the best. I couldn't fit the pin into any hole. No pin needed, just a good shaking.
Hey, I was skeptical, but it works not quite the same machine but it works. Thanks a lot.
Okay I just bought another keurig second hand and I tried this even though I swore it wouldn’t work, and just when I thought it didn’t, the water started brewing finally 😂 going to buy vinegar to clean further but this totally does work thank you for sharing!
Many thanks…. Was just about to junk our Kerurig, but this video saved it’s life.
Thank you so much. It really worked! I also had to use a paper clip to unclog the needles but it works now.
Wow this totally works. I was thinking it wasn’t going to and exactly as said and now coffee again. Thank you
I had to go through your process twice but DID finally get it to work! Thanks!!
Thank you sir. It worked. Had to be patient and needed to shake it at least 4-5 times. I thought for a second to take the whole thing apart.
Worked again!! Thanks man!! Used vinegar instead of water & the max cup size to start my purging and cleaning!!
This even worked on the commercial K150P. Thank you for this video. We were at our wit’s end.
I really didn’t believe this would work! You have saved the day! Thank you Thank you!
A year later, it still works. THANK YOU!!
You are the absolute boss. Saved my morning, brother. Thought I was about to have throw out Old Faithful. Been using her for, what, like seven years? Maybe 8?

Exactly what my machine needed. Thank you so much for making this video.
Thank you so much! I was beginning to disassemble the machine until I watched your video. Worked like a charm! Time to find out how to decalcify now.
I also didn’t think this would work, but it did! It took 2 tries. The first time I didn’t shake it vigorously enough. The 2nd time I shook it until water started pouring out, slightly burning my arm. Be careful if you try this. But it does work!

It took a few tries, but mine's finally working again. Another video suggested plugging that rubber thing to no avail. Now I'm just putting it through several rinse cycles to get all the gunk out.
It worked! Yay! Thank you! No need to buy a new one.
This worked great! Saved our vacation mornings!
It’s working now after I follow your truck. Useful video.👍👍👍👍
30 seconds of work and not only did it start working, but it’s flowing better than it has in years!
