Good Video. I appreciate that you give the names of things like the boxes and cable straps. Keep doing that it is a big help. I hope you can continue to build your channel.
There are different ways to describe a California 3-way (Coast 3-way). One description is to say that one of the switch boxes does not have a neutral wire it in, the neutral being used as a hot. Other folks can probably describe it better. (I just subscribed).
Great answer! Thank you for watching! It's rare with boxes, more so with can lights or pendant lights 2' away where I have seen new guys struggle on what or shouldn't strap

U only have to strap 1ft away from boxes and every 6 foot after for mc
what brand phillips bit you using in your milwaukee?
I buy Dewalt pack @ homedepot.. thank you for watching 🙏🍻
No, u don't have to strap it if it's that close. They would not be that close in real life anyway. Strap it within 12" of the box if it's beyond 12

MC needs support 12” out the box. I wouldn’t support in between those boxes you’re doing.
I would have used a fork on the stranded. Easier and gets rid of any chance of it ever touching the box and secure connection
I agree. That really is the best way to do it
Get some rotosplitters for the mc
Hi
Can you do a video about coreline and how to work it ?
Sorry are you referring to MC cable?
@@highlifeelectrician7690 I mean coreline inside of the concrete
I will actually be doing that on a job here soon for a commercial break room island. I will record it and say how I do it.
No, you should'nt have to use a strap.
Believe its .83 amps to kill u
I always forget the terminology as well so I always day HOT or lime side LOL
But it's known as the common for the more anal ridden sparkys
