It's so far ahead and of the standard way most drummers approach electronic drums with traditional drum modules, triggers and e-pads. Maybe I missed it by not watching the video to the end.
The drumset or trapset is an intricately musical instrument. Just like it's cousin, the piano. It's not a time keeping machine. Sometimes it can be that sure. But it's a musical canvas. Many portraits can be handcrafted with precision and subtlety.

I really love the monkey/mind concept, it totally make sense. Definitely that is how we always play, consciously or unconsciously.
