I am hoping next weekend. It rains every other day for past month not letting the trails dry. Example -I had one day to film this review, rained all day yesterday. Today no rain and then rain for the next 3 days. Trails should finally be dry by this weekend.
I have found many inconsistencies when it comes to what these manufacturers put on their websites. Sometimes they say a bike has mechanical brakes but shows a picture of hydraulic brakes. Various stuff like that. The information I get on these bikes is from the manufacturer and if they have changed something on the website (or changed the specs) it was after my review.
Disappointed in plastic fenders and mechanical brakes, even at the sale price. Although I like that it has cadence sensor ..... the "lag" you said it had at start of hill climb doesn't sound like a cadence sensor to me .... you were pedaling, it shouldn't matter how hard. You say this ebike is able to be upgraded to Class 3; does that have any other adjustments in the controller to make pedaling response quicker and eliminate the lag? I'm 6'5", so the size of this ebike is pretty good in my situation.
@@scotthardesty I wasn't doubting you that it was cadence, just wondered if the manufacturer was de-tuning it with a "lag" in response to complaints some people have about cadence surging forward from a stop. Thanks for the answer on adjustments the controller allows.
You can adjust how many rotations of the crank before it kicks in and you can adjust how much power it boosts for pas. They have the manual pdf you cam download and see the settings adjustments. I love mine
I haven't yet drained it fully but i do throttle 99% of my rides and only have 73 miles all together so far. But ive gone 18 miles throttle only mostly flat but gunning it many times and according to the charge gage i was half. Its a beast @scotthardesty
Not really. Other than mechanical brakes, this is good for the price. I've seen more expensive bikes that don't go this fast or have some of the features of this bike. (cruise control, cadence sensor, good tires, fenders and rack included, etc.)
I like your channel. But, I'm disappointed with your review. When I watch reviews I expect full details. The battery is one and a half amp hour smaller than their claim the motors less powerful than they're claim the guaranteed shipping comes with no actual guarantee except for it's guaranteed to be late. And for whatever reason their power curve comes on super slow. I am disappointed I bought this bike especially considering how shady this company is.
You can't blame my review for that. This sounds like an issue you are having and it was not my experience. I stand behind my review and I am sorry you are disappointed that I did not have the same issues.

Is the tires inflated when you get it
Not really. You still have to inflate the tires to ride it.
@ can I buy any inflater to inflate the tires
@@sasaicoco1281 You can, but I believe it comes a cheap tire pump in the box.
@ alright thank you. Is there anything else I need for the bike
Another good vid Scott, nice job
Thanks 👍
How about a spare battery.
Looks like they sell them on their website.
Double check your battery to see if it actually says 13ah on it. My c2 was supposed to come with a 12ah and when I checked, it only says 10.4.
I always look what is on he battery for that info. So my ah was correct.
Great video! I'd love to see a C2 review if you can. Best regards from Bucktown
I don't have the C2 but the A2 review goes public today.
I’m 12 right now and is able to get this but would I fit? I am 5’2
I would say No. This bike is too tall.
Are the times tubeless ready?
No
When does "round 2" of the Aventon ramblas vs the Velotric summit come out? I'm genuinely interested in it as I'm weighing my options

I did not see where you can adjust the sensitivity. Trust me, it’s a cadence sensor.

Mechanical bakes, small capacity batt, for only list of price $1900 yikes! Not even worth $900..........
I get it.
After this video $ 200 more
Seriously? Ugh.
I just checked, the price is still the same.
