Every song on the #Signature EP.......hits someone's life very personally and I love what Dave said, which really means alot....he READ comments, that had one person express how a song saved their life. Thank You Dave for saying that. Each ear is different......just like out taste buds.....one song, hits the spot for many....where it might not be the taste of others. Never dispel..what you feel isn't good.....for to others it might be just what they need....to save their life.
Just to mention, in my eyes and ears and heart Mirror is the best song of decades. It‘s very interesting to see, that it makes the most twists and headaches, but that‘s worth it. To all the other songs I think, they are very good, each of them. What struck me all the time is the lyrics of all the songs, it‘s so relatable to a lot of situations and it‘s very dedicated at the same time.
I love this interview. And i noticed that even when asked about his music, Dave still went back to talking about Morissette and Signature. Very selfless and so supportive! Because of this interviewed by sir Jacob, i got the chance to know more of Dave Lamar, coz i don't know who he really is and where he came from and how they got to know each other except for the fact that he is Mori's bf/fiancé and now after watching and hearing this interviewed i can say that no wonder Mori fell for him bcoz he seems to be a very nice guy and with his humble beginning shared to us, i am now convinced that they look good together and bring the best version to each other.. Mori has received a lot of negative comments being engaged to a guy like Dave probably because people don't know anything about him. Now it makes sense why Mori chose him. It is rare to find such a humble guy who loves music just like Mori. They do compliment each other and they created great songs!

So amused about learning more about the beginnings of Dave Lamar; just getting to know him as a background to Morisette's leaning towards Christian songs. And then hearing straight from him how he started composing/writing songs at so an early age and having written his first one about the life story of his Uncle John. An addendum...and through the process of doing collaboration or songwriting, music production, etc., their working relationship developed into a loving relationship and now are engaged. Isn't that fascinating? Love works in mysterious ways...and Morisette's Signature EP was born!!!🤗❤️🎶
Dave seems to be truthful and nice. I love the collaboration work between Morissette and him. I hope to see more in the future. My concern is that romantic relationship many times spoils good things. Apparently, he is a very understanding guy which is good because, from what I gathered, Morissette seems to be quite bossy.
