I wanted to Kickstart this game sooooooo badly but it just wasn’t a good time. You two are a joy to watch and present the games so well! Thanks for the very entertaining video!
Thx for the review. I really like this game. The components, artwork/graphical design are really good. The game mechanisms feel unique and entertaining. Watching your playthrough reminds me to play this game again. I played it a few times solo and 2 or 3 times with 4 players so far. The only minor critiques from my side are that it is somewhat lengthy to teach and I would liked to have more cards in at least aera I and II. Have fun...
Thanks for checking it out! We definitely enjoyed the uniqueness of the game as well. It's always nice to stumble upon fresh mechanisms in games. I agree, more cards would be nice!
I got a copy because you said it works for 2 people. I just tried it yesterday and I loved it. Thanks for the review! Just a note: It seems you have been placing an hourglass in the first slot of your actions track every turn. It is placed just for the first round... you can use that spot later on :P
They remove 1 hourglass from each space. If a space has two hourglasses, they only remove one. Any hourglasses left over slide down. You might be playing incorrectly, they were following the rule book.
Great Playthrough & Review! Thanks 🙏🏼

Aww thanks for watching and for kind words! I know what you mean, timing when it comes to kickstarter can be tough sometimes, especially financially
Great video. You guys have such a watchable easy going style and a cool selection of games, which is costing us money as we keep buying them :)
Thank you for watching! haha aww. Yes, the large selection of amazing games out there is always a challenge
This (your video) was a final straw to push me towards getting Gentes: Deluxe Edition! Thank You for fantastic (as usual) video!!!
Haha this was early on in our TH-cam life, sorry the quality isn't the best. Glad it still helped though!!!

Sorry if I missed it, is this the base version, or a deluxe version? Thanks!
Hi! It's the deluxe version =)

@@MyKonaRC Yes! You're right. I didn't pay attention to their leftover hourglasses from previous turns when I first watched this. Thank you :)
