Train Mountain Triennial 2022

This was a record of my first visit to Train Mountain and to one of their Triennial Meets. Luckily I had some great guides to help me negotiate the line and find out what was expected of me at the meet. This year marked their 8th Triennial with this year's actually a year late. This is ride on model railroading at it's finest and I think you will enjoy the wide variety of locomotives and rolling stock that were on display.

ok drew me in with the Rock Island 35 but I love that Little Joe.
Welded rail flats in gray with red ends? combined with the caboose on that train I'm thinking there's a bit of homage to the hometown road and that the Rock Island train is actually a circa late 1980/1981 CNW train.🙂

My understanding is that it is member funded or from other donations. Their are 4 entities that are involved with TM, but I believe the property and track are owned by Train Mountain Institute.

Question, did you guys run into issues with greased up rail through Panama and 2% solution? We hit a few spots that really made uphill pulls with the Mike a real challenge and a few downhill runs downright dangerous... This was like Tuesday and Wednesday we had the most issues.

Etliche deutschen Loks kamen nach 1945 in die USA.
