Best of Luck to you with the newest addition to the house. Remember to treat the generator with love and care, They like it when you read them the maintenance instructions at bedtime. Always try to keep a bottle of oil ready is case it gets whinny... Final note. be sure to record in the guest book entries which neighbors showed up bearing gifts of frankincense, gold and myrrh. Neighbors like that are wise and may need you one day to keep their insulin cool.
Best of luck with your new project. I owned a generac fourteen years, a good run for this level of machine. It was always ready until it wasn’t. Can and will happen with anything though. I went with Cummins the second time.
Thanks, yes I saw that as he was loading it back up again and finally realized how it is secured but wow has that ever a lot of weight on the back of those trucks. I've never actually seen one loading up like that before and was quite mesmerized
And for the record, there was nothing wrong with the unit. It was just cosmetic rip on the box no damage or scratches on the inside etcetera. the driver brought it all the way up my long driveway and set it right on my covered patio
I've had Lowes deliver products to my house for 20 years, and they have always been great at putting it wherever I need it - no questions. Yes, sometimes the boxes I get are busted up like yours, however, it is probably just from loading/unload product and has never been an issue with me. Even if the unit had just one little scratch on it, I could return it and get another from Lowes no questions ask (however, I have only had to do that a couple times from probably 60 deliveries). Lowes has been great
@@ericvonp Lowes has been in Ohio since the '80s, it was the first big box store. The other locals were PK Lumber, Wolohan, and '84 Lumber. Lowes wanted to start the one-stop-shopping philosophy, and unfortunately (like many other big box retailers), put the local stores out of business. However, unlike perhaps other big box chains, our local Lowes stores have been good to the community.

Is ok or not.
Yes, it is 100% perfect. It was purely cosmetic for the Box alone nothing wrong with the unit not a scratch
