Is it weird I'm watching this and have the same car? Absolutely love it. Almost 70k on it. Didn't have a single problem and the fuel economy is insane. I get 5 liter's on 100 km. You can park anywhere and it turns so nicely.
You don't even know Barrie how thankful I'm because of your review. I'm looking forward for the buyer of my current car and then gonna start searching for perfect, facelifted Jazz in march. This is car is so freakingly rare in my country, it's so hard to find a car configurated like Jazz you've tested. CVT + '16 wheels + cruise control = almost unreachable. Only 6 goddamn cars in the whole Poland, which is one of the most car-populated countries in EU. Madness, it's easier to find a Ferrari. It may sound funny, but I've wached a couple of times the scenes when you're accelerating and starting the drive to imagine how this car would sound in daily routine. Hope the model which I'm going to check live will impress me as the Jazz you've tested. Greetings. PS Does the noise in the cabin actually annoys as some users complain, or in the facelifted model this issue has been reduced? Cheers.
I have the 2009 model jazz se I believe. Had it 2 years now and hasn't let me down once. If you want reliability go for one of these or a yaris. My old yaris mk1 just wouldn't die 👍. The only thing I hate about my jazz is the front pillar blind spot. It's bloody dangerous, sort of defeats the object of it being thick to hold up better in a crash
It's somewhat better than on the previous model. Almost hit my own brother on his motorcycle at a roundabout. Because I did not see him in the blind spot.
Really interested in one of these, as my wife struggles with a manual. One question though, I can't understand why there's a flappy paddle gearchange on a CVT automatic gearbox. A CVT has 'infinite' number of gears and will adjust depending on speed and engine power. With that in mind, what can the flappy paddle gearshift actually do?!
This is me assuming, since the gear is a uniformal gear as opposed to 5 separate gears, the computer must have set gears that are set at certain rpm's. But who knows.
Hi, I currently have a manual Ford fiesta but because of my health condition I'm thinking of changing to an automatic. Do you think the Jazz is a good choice? Is it a slightly higher up seating position too? Thank you.
I'm not 3 minutes in but as soon as he got in the car, I could not hear what he's saying. I get the feeling his review is pretty thorough which makes it a real shame to have to miss out; but no way I can suffer 30 minutes of this.
Barrie Crampton Thanks for your reply, Barrie. There's nothing wrong with my speakers; and I use them a lot. However, after leaving that comment and watching a couple of other reviews, I eventually took the plunge to watch yours right through. Most of the rest of it was easier to hear - and , due to your expressive hand movements, I think I finally gleaned most of what you were saying from the back seat.
@@timtube1663 It has preset ratios which it switches depending on load and speed. In sport mode, it holds onto the gears for higher revs. Like the guy said, 500rpm more before switching up. The paddles can be used to manually change between these preset ratios.
Hondas are perfect. They have only one problem - style. They are so ugly. Even new CRV looks much worse than 2016 model o.O Engines are so good though that after having fancy cars my family finished all stocked up in Hondas for hard electric crap times. The person who sold Jazz to my Mum, bought one from three last brand new 1.5 Jazz in Poland, because it is for now the best Jazz engine (hybrids are not that reliable at all). I always say that Honda drives so much better than it looks.
Nice to see you using lane 1 of the motorway when not overtaking. It seems to be a forgotten art.

Great little car, the audio recording equipment actually amplifies the noise in the car, i think when you drive it you will be pleasantly surprised
im looking to buy one now, its a 2009 model though. it still has parkingsensors and cruisecontrol though!
This guy is great lol I don't want a car and I'd by a car from him

Been driving manual for 30 years with the traffic flow increasing I'm going automatic for a more relaxed driving experience
I'm an ex mondeoman, and I will I be happy owning if jazz cvt

A strong contender 4 my nxt car aside need to go automatic 😫

I had absolutely no trouble whatsoever hearing the video
You might need a hearing aid. Get your hearing checked.... Also, you can switch on subtitles and read every word, unless you need glasses too.
Nice review
Thanks for watching dennohize, and I really do appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment
Barrie Crampton ..You're welcome!
Apik mas bro👍❤️🙏
Usually driven by somebody who is around 80 years old, and a top speed of 40 mph
I'm thinking of buying a jazz CVT for my first car 🤣🤣😂 I'm 24

He was commenting on the aggressive Audi driver. Audis always seem to be driven by imbeciles in this country.

I think it's a CVT transmission. I'm confused as to why it has paddles lol

Very reliable cars, but I agree the styling is poor
