Looks like that’s from back in the day when they needed an engine to last pretty much forever so when they decided to throw a lot of iron at it when they designed and manufactured it and they ended up with something that will quite literally never wear out,,,it may need routine maintenance now and again but will run nearly forever like the old Fairbanks Morris engines in their day and time,,, very good video thank you
Have remember, back then, all the castings were done by hand. The moulds etc. As such, they were a bit more "meaty" than the machine made castings of today. All that said, equipment of that era it a thing of beauty.
