This was a very fun video. I laughed harder than I should when you had the ship come out with that chill music. 😂😂😂😂 I like the option for the 6 Famicoms shipping in 2 boxes with some games. The idea would be to keep one, fix up, and sell the rest. Hopefully, it would pay for itself. 😊
Thanks so much. I'm glad you got a kick out of the humor 😉 If they were all in fair condition and working order you probably could make your money back🤑
My kids are going to Japan later this year. Maybe I will ask them to look for a few of them for me and bring them back. Or if empty-handed not to come back at all 😀.
I left Japan in 2019 (sadly). Back then, ¥108 was the standard. I certainly bought my fair share. I remember going into a Book Off in 2018 and seeing a stack of at least 60 for ¥108 each. I picked out 3 or 4 of the best condition ones and left the rest. Loking back now, I should have bought them all.
I'm hoping to go to japan in the next year or so. I'm probably gonna end up buying a ton of retro games and consoles, as I have an insane amount of baggage allowance. 2 checked, 1 carry on, 1 backpack, PER PERSON. Me and a family member working with the airline are going. So, obviously, I'm taking advantage of that. A question I have though is with the stores themselves. Do you need to know any Japanese to buy from places like hard off and suguyu? That's really my only concern.
Wow, that is so cool. I was lucky enough to fly with a friend who worked at the airlines once as well. Such a cool perk. As far as needing to know Japanese, while it's very helpful, it's not necessary to buy things at hardoff or bookoff. Japan is a friendly place
[Pauses like a minute in] Definitely 15~20. And I'll bet they all basically work. [Unpauses.] 👍 Edit: HOLY CARP. That's a lotta SuFami. The international shipping on my last Buyee package was 29,500 through FedEx... That was for 18 kilos of SFC and PSX games. (Granted it _did_ arrive in Vermont less than 48 hours later, so... 🤷♂️)
that cicada, that's found art
It most definitely is my friend. It's most definitely is😌
That NES Contra Loop hits hard. I am 45 and that was a hard Flashback.
I'm glad you agree with me contra was the game!

was able to get a Super Famicom that looks clean for Y200 at BEEP Akihabara las weekend. Haven't tested it yet though.
Nice! It's not well known for good junk but ive come across some good junk at beep over the years😀
I didn't expect the output of this vid
Thanks for the positive feedback 😀
*Separate. Think of the root word "pare" as in cutting (paring knife). I used to struggle with this one, too.

Oh good guess. Fed ex hmm ill have to look into them next time 🫡
Is there an option to buy it directly and smuggle it in a big luggage?
Yeah that would be the cheapest. 😀
400 yen is crazy even for broken snes
It sure is. Funny thing is famicoms seem to be higher priced than super famicoms right now 🤔
5k yen for a neogeoCD? (non-Z) that seems like a good deal no?
Not bad but the door was busted and I have bad luck with cd based consoles 🙃
thats alot of famicom
You got that right ✅️
I’m going to guess 18
I like that guess
@@ScruffyLookinRGB only off by a few 😂
