If Yamaha produced active NS10s instead of HS 8 or HS whatever, actual NS10s reissued, that would be awesome. Why let the second hand market get the big bucks?
Did you swap the ProAcs for the 1031s? Because I am using Genelec 1031s and NS10s - and I heard the ProAcs at a friends place and loved them immediately - now I am thinking of getting those too... If you compare the 1031s and SM100s - what is the difference in 2 sentences?

I've had this for a while man ...been working and working on my music but just don't feel like there's a point. I've built a wicked home studio, got ns10s n bryston amp too as well as ns1000 and pmc..got nice analog synths and uad etc. yet I feel pressure from everyone around me.basically if I'm not making money from music nobody seems to give a shit about my art. this has made me lose motivation also, having to make music round my normal full-time job ...I am starting to feel like it's just a pointless , worthless endeavour! anyway man good luck with your studio man, peace!
I picked up an older pair of ProAc's about a month ago. Super clear in the high end and like you said, really allows you to see deeper into a mix like it's 3D. Happy to see you enjoy them! They don't go super low though, you're using a sub with them?
Try this... I think you´ll be really surprised. Put the monitor (the screen) BEHIND the line in between your speakers... Better off, try putting on the floor first; just to see how much of the stereo image you´re losing by having your screen on a bad position... Thanks me later. Peace!

Read it's pair to keep the ns10 vertical
Yep..vertical is what they where designed for......I have tried both ways and VERTICAL close in is where the NS 10 sounds best to my ears!
