Just got mine the other day.. used it this morning.. at first I thought it was defective as the eco-mode does not vacuum while trying it for the 2nd time.. tried pulling the cord out, then plugging it in again.. thankfully it worked.. pretty good to avoid mess during grooms..
do you think it works well with dogs who are afraid of vacuums? I'm thinking about it but one of the cats I think it would be useful on is afraid of vacuums
One of our dogs HATES vacuums. So introduced her to it slowly by letting her sniff it and giving her treats. Then turned it on and gave her more treats. After that, using it for a few seconds at time with treats. Then normal use. She still hates it but with very little fuss as long as there’s treats during use. The whole process took about 2 days. Now we use it once to twice a week.
I haven’t tried it on a Pug... but it has worked on Chihuahuas, Frenchies, Dachshunds, German shepherds, and Pitt bulls. So I’m sure it would work on a Pug.

When they did it was taken by Neabot and they made there own. Neabot actually holds the patent in China. You can find the Neabot company on Alibaba.com and see the patents for it. You can also buy it on Alibaba for $55.00 however by the time you pay shipping and you might as well get it on Amazon.
You missed a lot. Hose doesn't detach. It does get jammed easily when used on a thick, doublecoat dog like my Sammy. Vacuum now is jammed with hair and can't easily be cleaned. Horrible design.

Does this work on large dogs?
Yes, but the container has be changed a few times. I’ve used it on my friends 100lb German Shepard.

I definitely wouldn’t call it “loud as hell”. It’s not as loud as my 2 other vacuums on the highest setting (which we haven’t needed).
If it's too loud perhaps it may be defective?
