Betheny I completely understand how you feel. I am fortunate that I am able to do my work from home but there are still days I nap at lunch and breaks and hit the bed as soon as I’m done for the day. The fatigue is real and I know so many people recovered from Covid and don’t feel the long after affects that some of us do and they do not get it. I’m hoping you start to feel better in the near future. It is tough and it’s nice that Emily’s videos give you comfort. She does that for me too..
@@Mismatched_Bethany There is no rhyme or reason which is what makes it so scary. My son had it and barely had a symptom and was only really sick for a few days. But I was sick for a month and still have issues and it’s been months. We both will get past this and be healthier than ever. I never loose faith!!!!

I LOVE the Smokey face palette. An unsung hero of the brand for me is their skinny brow pencils. I rely on a skinny pencil to draw hairs on and their formula is so perfect for it.

I generally skip blush…I have a lot of pink and redness in my skin specially in my cheeks….a strong medium coverage I can still see the pink and freckles a little bit without any extra product. Cool tone bronzer I need though!!

I always had a soft spot for their old eyeshadows in the gold package. They really helped me learn to apply my shadows in the right areas of my eyes. I wish they didn’t get rid of those. 😢

Sure! I was just telling someone - another similar thing that I've used recently is the NYX No Filter Finishing Powder! Wish I would have thought to mention it in the video for those who have a hard time finding Prep Set & Glow.
the website link isnt working for me, I used to love this powder, I'm pretty sure it has been discontinued, I got a few back ups on amazon. I think this can be used as a toned down highlighter.

I love Milani as a brand & use their products regularly. Right now I’m using the Most Wanted mascara & their micro brow pencil. But their ORIGINAL sharpenable lip pencils have been a staple for an entire decade - I use all 3 nude shades, but Spice & All Natural are my go-to’s bcz they’re just absolute perfection! Ulta always has them for like $3-$4. I just bought a Spice backup.
I’d love Milani to come out with this eye/face palette in a pink/champagne/light brown eyeshadow palette, with maybe three blushes instead of a bronzer. I love a good pink look!
I'm so glad you brought back the one brand videos!! I think it is a great way to highlight the strengths of a certain brand and it's a good reminder of some gems that have been overshadowed by newer products. Also, those Red Cherry #43 lashes are such a throwback! They look amazing, of course! 💗

I love these brand videos. I switched to working from home completely and with the whole pandemic thing I’ve realized how much I really do or don’t use what I have. I also want to be smarter with my money and what I buy. I was wasting too much. I have come to love project pan and best of videos more instead of the latest products. I also appreciate when people review the latest products and then tell us if they’re similar to past products so we don’t end up with dupes. I hope you do more brand focused videos!
My favorite thing from Milani right now is their matte lipsticks. I'm not usually a matte girl, but these are so comfortable and I love the classy packaging! 💛

I agree! I love the Ungilded Mattes palette!! It really has the perfect tones for any kind of nude look I want to do! I use it with the shimmers from the Patrick Ta palette and am never disappointed with the final look!

Emily, I love you and have been watching you for many, many years. Last night I watched "Not So Pretty" on HBO and am alarmed to learn about asbestos in talc products. I woke up today and looked at my make up, it's in almost all of my eyeshadows, setting powders, blush, etc. Heading over to the store to buy all talc free make up. Everyone reading this, please watch it or look up the dangers of talc.
I can’t count how many different ways & times I’ve tried to get the Elf camo concealer to work on my under eyes, I was DETERMINED to love it bcz Emily does lol but it just ends up looking very heavy & makeup-y on me. So I use the other one from elf w/the brush tip. Or that semi-newer 1 from Milani- comes in a tube & it’s very lightweight & has 3 different peach shades. They both do about same thing - which is very light coverage but mostly corrects & brightens.
The milani eyeshadow primer I remember watching your videos from I wan say anywhere from 6-8 years ago and you compared it to either the one by kvd or urban decay I wanna say it was the urban decay and its still the most talked about eyeshadow primers I can remember:)

I just bought that palette yesterday at Walmart. Great travel palette for only $12+. I just slapped on a little of the bronzer, highlight & blush today and I'm really happy with them. Great video, as usual!!
Hi Emily the bronzer and highlight will show up well on a fair skin, as will the lighter blush. Both of the previous palettes were too warm and too dark for a fair skin tone. I like greys on the eye, as I have very pale skin with a cool undertone. This one may be more targeted at a fair to light cooler skin tone and then it does round out the other two with an option for fairer skin. Either the bronzer or lighter blush could provide a transition/crease shade to complement the three shadows. Just my take on it, looking at it with a lighter skin tone in mind. I do agree though, that not every cool toned eye look has to be grey and they could have gone with more of a taupe, but the shades are pretty if a bit on the smoky side lol. Best wishes.

Everybody else is trying so hard to "lift" their face their putting their blush so far back on their face, that's it's not even on the actual cheeks anymore. This is such a lovely look! I love a cool-toned palette. I use the CT Instant Look In a Palette in Smokey Eye Beauty, which has been discontinued, and I am always on the lookout for substitutes.
So many great products from Milani!! I love the Ludicrous lip crayons…the staying power is not the same as Maybelline, but I prefer the feel of the Milani better and I don’t mind reapplying.
Emily, I have never been a big blush person.. I mean I have a lot in my collection; however into the barely there blush look. Nowadays, definitely into a more blushy look.. for a sunburned or super flushed look. I love the look you created..
I have loved Milani blushes for years and recently tried the eyeshadows when my husband went to Walgreens and bought me two of their 9 pan shadows. The colors were great but the day after I got them, 3 shades fell out of the pan and broke. They were so powdery that I wasn’t able to save them and the next day the others fell out. Needless to say, I returned them and will stick with the blushes, they never disappoint.

Hi Emily! I’m new to your videos, but I really enjoyed this one. You showed some really great techniques. Milani has some truly solid products that can hold up to high-end makeup in terms of how it looks on and how I use it. I haven’t used them in a while, but you inspired me. I have my regular makeup that I can use with my eyes basically closed. I think when I feel inspired, I’ll do a month of a different challenge. So for example, I’ll do a month of Milani. Thanks for the inspiration!
I just threw out that Milani concealer due to it's age but didn't repurchase as it was only in the kinda all right category. The foundation only works when I slather on a heavy moisturizing cream and then it's great :)
I love their Color Fetish lipsticks, both in the matte & the balmy versions 🤩 It’s a great brand; I like a lot of their stuff - I actually finished the Prep, Set & Glow powder long time ago - which says a lot, because powder is not my very dry skin’s best friend 😉
I have come to a decision after practicing. Layering is a beautiful thing. Doing it by brand can create a canvas...that one can rely on. (Everyone loved a beauty influencer they can rely on) ELF camo concealer, putty primer, base foundation, any of their powders, ELF setting spray...a canvas to die for...Wet n Wild...tinted moisturizer, incognito concealer, photo focus foundation, loose powder, their own setting spray. It's a good thing. Try it, you may like it. A strong canvas can be the beginning of everything. Lynn

I tend to be oily. . But on days when my skin is looking good I like the Milani setting spray

So many great products from Milani!! I love the Ludicrous lip crayons…the staying power is not the same as Maybelline, but I prefer the feel of the Milani better and I don’t mind reapplying.

The only store I can find the pressed powder in is Smith’s (owned by Kroger)! It is one of my favorites.
Emily, I have never been a big blush person.. I mean I have a lot in my collection; however into the barely there blush look. Nowadays, definitely into a more blushy look.. for a sunburned or super flushed look. I love the look you created..
I have loved Milani blushes for years and recently tried the eyeshadows when my husband went to Walgreens and bought me two of their 9 pan shadows. The colors were great but the day after I got them, 3 shades fell out of the pan and broke. They were so powdery that I wasn’t able to save them and the next day the others fell out. Needless to say, I returned them and will stick with the blushes, they never disappoint.

Hi Em! I loved this video. All Milani-yes! The make it last "settin spray"(which is how we would say it down here in the South) is marvelous! Milani blushes especially the baked ones are iconic. Hi Emily! I’m new to your videos, but I really enjoyed this one. You showed some really great techniques. Milani has some truly solid products that can hold up to high-end makeup in terms of how it looks on and how I use it. I haven’t used them in a while, but you inspired me. I have my regular makeup that I can use with my eyes basically closed. I think when I feel inspired, I’ll do a month of a different challenge. So for example, I’ll do a month of Milani. Thanks for the inspiration!

I just threw out that Milani concealer due to it's age but didn't repurchase as it was only in the kinda all right category. The foundation only works when I slather on a heavy moisturizing cream and then it's great :)

I love their Color Fetish lipsticks, both in the matte & the balmy versions 🤩 It’s a great brand; I like a lot of their stuff - I actually finished the Prep, Set & Glow powder long time ago - which says a lot, because powder is not my very dry skin’s best friend 😉
I have come to a decision after practicing. Layering is a beautiful thing. Doing it by brand can create a canvas...that one can rely on. (Everyone loved a beauty influencer they can rely on) ELF camo concealer, putty primer, base foundation, any of their powders, ELF setting spray...a canvas to die for...Wet n Wild...tinted moisturizer, incognito concealer, photo focus foundation, loose powder, their own setting spray. It's a good thing. Try it, you may like it. A strong canvas can be the beginning of everything. Lynn
