Exploring the Backstreets of Pasay, Philippines 🇵🇭

  • After our exploration of the world's largest Ikea and the Mall of Asia, we took a Tuk Tuk to the Taft Avenue MRT and saw a very busy and cool-looking market street and decided to head down it and explore! We finally got to do some more backstreet exploration here in the Philippines and it was a very fun and adventurous experience! We finally interacted with some locals, shot some hoops, and had a very fun time navigating the maze of the City of Pasay local streets!

Love this one because this is the reality of how most ordinary Filipinos live their lives everyday. Hopefully you can go explore MANILA the Capital Of The Philippines & BAGUIO CITY-SUMMER CAPITAL OF THE PHILIPPINES although it's not that cold anymore that it used to be, but still it's a nice place to go visit.

You're the only vlogger that I watched who explore that place "Baclaran market " , good job guys for exploring different parts of Metro Manila and see the real chaotic, noisy but full of life side of the Philippines. I also noticed that Filipinos are really used to see foreign vloggers , that whenever they see a camera they already know that you are vlogging , Filipinos are really good and happy people , but of course if there are good ,there are bad, so still be cautious and vigilant everytime you roam around. Stay safe guys.

Call me old school but the best way to discover a city, especially manila, is not through malls but the streets and the wet / dry markets. Others would suggest quiapo - divisoria - binondo but pasay is great too. My old work place is between roxas blvd - pasay - manila. And i enjoy walking around before and after work. Having a meal from a carinderia before riding a bus home. Just be very careful with your belongings since you are foreigners. There are parts in quezon city that is like the one in pasay. QC is very very big so it's diverse as well.

You reached the Baclaran in Pasay City. One of the pick pocket areas of Metro Manila. Don’t argue with me because I was victimized by a pick pocket there 😂. If you had walked a little bit farther you must have reached international airport 😂 someone called Hey Joe inside the wet Market.Old generations would call Americans HEY JOE Because of the American G.I joes during the WW2. Take care guys in going in this kind of streets . Filipinos are really kind but of course bad people are always around.

Congratulations Tyler and Isaac ❤️❤️❤️...you've conquered the Streets of Pasay! 😱👏👍...I believe the word "Organic" is a good word to describe the areas that you've been to...a couple of blocks more from that place is the famous Baclaran Church where people go to hear mass and say prayers and see the miraculous image of our perpetual mother the blessed virgin Mary...and m glad that you find the streets and the locals there exciting, friendly, chaotic but fun like some sort of a "beautiful mess" so to speak..I laughed when u alarmingly noticed a kid on a motorcycle 😆😆😆 wait till you see the father, mother, sister, brother and a baby all in one motorcycle 🤪😂😆. Too bad you didn't catch "Cartimar" though which is a community of pet shops where you can find different breeds of dogs, cats, fishes, birds, maybe even reptiles and sea creatures and insects...maybe sometime you can check them too...m also surprised that it's your first time to see and experience a wet market which is super!...and when Tyler said "that's unsanitary sir" referring to the guy who threw a cup in front of him...now that's what I call a "good upbringing" which speaks volumes about your character and that's very pleasant to know about you...plus It's a treat to see Isaac in action when he threw the ball 3 times on the basketball court...I had so much fun seeing you boys reacting to that place, the people and the community in general so m thrilled to find out that you're going to see Manila next and experience Quiapo (visit the famous Quiapo Church okey?) Divisoria, Binondo, Intramuros, Chinatown, Avenida, Recto, The University of Santo Tomas on The Street of Espana which is one of the oldest if not the oldest university in the Philippines and my Alma mater as well 😊 and the University Belt where u will find the other universities in manila so braze yourself when u get there because it's going to be another one Epic if not Amazing video to make so keep on doing those wonderful and entertaining vlogs and always take extra care of yourselves and your personal belongings when going to very tight and busy places...much ❤️ to the two of you.

Pasay City, in my book, has some of the more, if not, the most embarrassingly chaotic and very disorganized suburban local areas of Metro probably because the local vendor population coming from all different provinces are so abundant here that the local gov't units can't or won't bother to keep them away anymore because they always come back after every clearing operation similar to what Bangkok had before. As a local, I'm glad you see this as a far better place than an eyesore but remember to always keep an eye of your belongings every time you're here. that person throwing a cup, not sure but usually those people buy drinks at the street vendors and throw them after... hence, the garbage around the area. some dont care about the people who might get affected by their actions. i think all over the world there are some who are like that. The thing i appreciate with you guys more is that you dont make mistakes of some people affect you from doing things, exploring, appreciating and seeing the world in a better view. its fun to watch you guys. take care as alway

HI guys! To experience the real Philippines you should engage conversations with the locals not just passing through, , you will be surprised and glad how they respond , helpful and generous. Be inquisitive, ask them what their names, what they are selling or what are they doing, make jokes or just be friendly. Most of them they like to be in your vlog. and not shy with cameras. To have a different vibes go to the old Manila and maybe Quiapo area.
