Hi, I had my biggest house (51 rooms ) made over 20 yrs ago and only now am attempting to decorate. It has the eyelet on each ceilings and after asking in all my facebook groups have just been told its a back plate you attach to then put into eyelet. So when you just wrapped each wire around the pins was that each wire has to touch both pins ?
