Starfield Ship Building Guide - Using the Cabot C4 Bridge with no interior ladders!

- Here's my 8th ship building guide in making an Endgame ship using the Cabot c4 Bridge with no interior ladders. Glitch build technique used for the top cowling and front parts.
All parts can be found in Stroud Eklund staryard, Akila City, Hopetown, New Homestead & Deimos Staryard. Take note that this build is a Class C ship. Level required is at least lvl 38 with Piloting skill and Starship design skills need to be maxed out.

Glitch build still works after a huge 1.9.51.0 update on Xbox. Considering that some of the prebuilt ships are also glitched. Sometimes, I think Bethesda created this mechanic for shipbuilding so they could see what the community would come up with. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the devs peruse the various SF subreddits or TH-cam builds like this for ideas and to keep up with the general consensus. Hopefully, this mechanic will never get patched out. That would piss a lot of people off if they did.
Yeah I've noticed that thru were glitching their own ships, so it annoyed me that some players were unjustifiably putting down players for doing it👍🏾

Gonna have to watch it a few times. It's escaping me how you dont have a ladder outside the cockpit on either level. Looks like a companionway. But ive been wanting to try this bridge. Thanks for the video.
Edit: nvmd, what i thoght were cross bracing is actually a type of lengthwise companionway. Didn't know they existed until now🤯! Day one player too😅.

Thanks for this video. I have since made my first one ladder ship build and Cabot bridge ship. I actually like it.
I've made similar-looking ships myself , but not as big . I like to build C-Class ships with the footprint of an A-Class ship . That lets me land a lot closer to my goal . When someone makes a mod that adds ground vehicles , I might try building a gigantic ship . But I don't like running across the face of a hostile planet for 2 miles at a time to get where I need to be . People love to s*** on Mass effect Andromeda , but at least that game actually had a ground vehicle . And one of the coolest looking ground vehicles in any video game too .
the gameplay of andromeda was fine. maybe even the best of the series. it was just all the other stuff.
@@grambowbc6093Agreed. I never really had a problem with the gameplay: it was actually quite fun if you could divorce it from the questionable graphics, repetitive missions, and terrible, terrible writing

a mod busted up my current copy of your jet in mk2 , now i fixed it with this video again and a kick ass mk 3 version at 430 km/h
perfect for "brfore you pimp your game and shipbuilder stations as a legit part ship backup for a clean save .

I got lucky when I added the Cabot. The existing ladder went away. I immediately saved the game.
Wow, man. I was *about* to make my own vid on a ship that I *thought* was amazing, but it's a hooptie compared to yours. It's quite possibly the cleanest-looking ship I've seen so far!
Great Ship, I cant place the Stroud Cowling 1LA under the bridge like you did, so instead of that I removed the part below it too and added Nova Cowling PM and SF instead of them and it still looks good, the same designt as on the sides of the ship I also have below / in front of bridge.
I also used Nova engines instead cous I like the design better and managed to fit them well.
my friend you jet is best of most as a backup jet when i mod the game to the edge , i made a mark 2 now combining my cheats into the model , its a design winner. something extra about the complete shape you engineered out.
I built this ship but ended up with 50 less cargo and only 88 maneuverability. All my ship stats are maxed out too. Not sure where I went wrong. Great build, definitely keeping it.
It may have something to do with your personal stats and skill tree levels. I'm going to build this one brick-for-brick tonight and see what it gives me.

Makes me think of independence day ships
Great build. Ever think of doing this build again but glitching the reactor, the tank and the grav drive into one unit while glitching all four engines into one engine to make it even smaller? If you don't know how to do that there is another TH-camr who has videos on glitching many parts into one part. He goes by the name Wolf.
Reminds me of that one Elite Dangerous ship, type 8 think?
love to know how you build with Tyao cockpits so i can steal some more idea.
How do you go from station to station to gather the parts you need efficiently?
With the flip glitch... I guess that's what it's cald. Do you just keep flipping until it goes into to place? If tried a bunch of times but didn't work I'm on console.
So you place it where you want it, it should snap in but be highlighted red not green, then flip it a couple of times, until it is positioned how you want it, then just hit the back button, b on Xbox controller, and it will stay there. This is how I do it, hope it helps.
@@Clynt74thanks! I'm on Xbox and when I saw this I thought for sure it's a PC mod. Definitely a game changer for that cockpit. Mine looked more like something you might find in a single woman's nightstand 😂
Nice build but the glitch does not work on PC so I could not acheive it unfortunately. Any tip to have it on PC (Steam) ? Oh Yes I am answering to myself (and maybe to others) you have to hit the TAB key once you have the part placed ! Awesome

Could you also show the colors you used?
Just select all parts then select the default black color in the choices
So in order to build this do we have to have a landing pad at an outpost to have access to all these parts? Or do you just stick the parts you need on a current ship from a location then go to the next location?

Using the side bay and the side docker, I truly have a ship with zero ladders, only the Cabot bridge stairs.
This worked out well with a couple of mods. Luxeryhabs and tiny habz. Luxeryhabs instead of the dock companion way so I can had kiosk (Pawn, bounty and missions). Second companion next to captain quarters (instead of the core2x1) is replaced with the hopetech workshop tinyhab.
ladders are not so bad in the rear where you can drop down to 1 x 1 armory habs.

SLOW Down! It is very hard to follow what you are doing. Nice build but you need to let us see it for longer so we can figure out how it is done.
After seeing this video and the recent update, i felt compelled to pickup Starfield again (on Xbox)..booted up. Played for about a minute and game crashed. Didnt start it up again. I guess game is still buggy as ever.
