I do think its more of an autumn wear though
I’ve started a spring cardigan now
I must start some sewing projects all the fabric and patterns are ready but I do like my knitting at the moment

Your jumpsuit looks great, and so comfortable to wear. The navy was a great choice. I can see it in black too, with a slightly wider leg without the elasticated cuffs - that would make it look a bit dressier but still incredibly wearable and comfy.
I look forward to seeing your progress as you knit the jumper - such a pretty pattern, and the colour will look gorgeous on you.
Thank you, yes the jumpsuit is really comfy! It’s funny, I was very tempted by black as an alternative to the navy, I think it would be really nice in black too .

Hi Cathy. Love the top and skirt that you are wearing today. Excellent zip that you put in the skirt. It all looks so professional. The hack you are going to make in the floral fabric should work a treat. Love the pink and turquoise dog too. The kids will love them . The knitting you are about to start in the pink oh my word love that colour too. I made a jump last summer and wore it often it was a vogue pattern and the fit was spot on . I’m hoping I’ll get lots of wear out of my jumpsuit this summer too. Glad you were able to get a good fit on yours as they can be a tricky garment to fit everywhere I think, I was happy that my adjustments worked on mine!

For jersey tops, I find making the neckband length 90% of the neckline measurement seems to work for me. A lot of patterns make the neckband piece 70-80% of the neckline, and I find that's too short and results in gathering in the neckline of the garment no matter how carefully you sew it. I haven't had the problem of a puckered looking neckline since I started ignoring the pattern and going with 90% 😄

Just been enjoying the weekly catchup with a nice cuppa. I don’t recall seeing your top before, but I love what you’ve done with the neckline and the fabric is very nice indeed. I saw your Nova jumpsuit on Instagram and it’s a really good fit isn’t it, well done for working out the right length alterations - I think it can be a really head scratcher sometimes, particularly with a jumpsuit - although I’ve never actually made one 😆 The Ogden/Lotta hack looks promising. The knitted dogs are so cute, but I can quite imagine how they could be tiring in the eyes. Finally your new knitting project looks so interesting, the colour will suit you so well and I love the design. Thank you for the time you spend making these videos - much appreciated and this was a was a joy to watch. Enjoy your week xx 😊

Love the jumpsuit! I'm super tempted but let needing to remind myself that with a newborn coming, I won't be able to wear jumpsuits for a while for fear or getting nap-trapped with baby in a carrier and not being able to go to the loo 😅😆
I have seen some amazing maternity Nova jumpsuits on Instagram using the version without the elasticated waist! But yes jumpsuits definitely not the easiest for going to the loo especially with a baby carrier, I can see that! 😄😄
