Most artifact hunters I know have respect for the earlier people and are in awe of their craftsmanship.
I had no idea an event like this even existed. Double wow!
I pick up trash along my creek all the time.Just makes me sick the amount of garbage that floats in. Stellar show and thank you for having it on film.
Thanks brother. Makes no sense to throw trash around when it doesn't take much to put it in the correct place.
This is the most amazing collection of Indian arrowheads and tools I've ever seen in my life!

We had people from the southern tips to the northern end of Missouri and folks from in between, most Stellar time and killer finds.

Well, I'd say that show has some museums beat, and most museums when it come specifically to points. Haha, Richard at the end! Yeah, I saw one video where he was rearranging and had almost his whole collection out, talk about show stopper of show stoppers!
Thanks, appreciate it. Actually most museum's suck when it comes to chipped Chert artifacts, most everything is locked up in a basement.

What a picture this paints brother Mike!!!! From the hours spent walking, digging, sifting, scouting and finding to this very pavilion with some unbelievable finds and extraordinary folks.......a great big family of like minded folks with a passion and hunger to not only find these treasures....but share them and their stories as well!!! I wasn’t there but it’s not hard to see that you hosted a fantastic show my friend and it’s an honor and pleasure to see such phenomenal artifacts and those who found and shared them!!! Congrats to all the winners and congrats to you Brooksy on a job well done!!! And I just wanna say I loved the “Rock Pox”!!!! This sickness has had many names and I’ve been afflicted for over 30 years now!! But I’m sure that most of my brothers and sisters, if not all, everyone who’s truly afflicted would agree that this is one fever we hope to never shake!!! Rock on brother Mike.....let the adventure continue!!! 👍👍👍
Thanks brother Mike, though I couldn't pull it off without Richard. The shows have always been a favorite time of year for me, 2 years without the spring show was driving me nuts. So 3 years ago that's when I decided to just start doing it myself with someone's help. I absolutely love bringing us all together, as well as giving the guys who do the footwork and the dig work, acknowledgement for their hard-earned efforts. Honestly it makes me feel good, to make a lot of people feel good. Especially those who share the passion that infects all.

Every time it would start raining when my kids were in school I would leave work check them out of school and we would hit the woods the people at the school said guess they have a doctor's appointment bring us back a point they knew we had rock pox

I just found your series of videos on TH-cam and haven't had a chance to really sit down and watch them yet..a question though. Do any of them feature Steve Hanson of Bates/Benton counties and his collection, or do you know who he is?
I've been trying to find any videos that may feature him and he was well known for his artifact collection and his work building log cabins for Heritage Days at Warsaw Mo.
He was my father and he passed away in June.
His collection is now on public display at Benton County Museum in Warsaw.
Sorry to hear about your Dad. My condolences. Though, no I haven't heard of him. It's been years since I've been over to Warsaw. I can't say I remember seeing any videos of the collections housed over there.

Do you have any contacts of these sellers, or maybe you are engaged in the search and collection yourself and would be able to sell them to me?
You got to be careful because there's a lot of high-quality fakes at them shows.... I know that from experience.
