Very cool video, I really like your POTA setup and the DX Commander mast, something I will think about using in the future. Hearing all your contacts come in really inspiring. I'm weaning myself off digital modes and getting more into telephony for POTA, its great to see that I should be able to get the 10 contacts required to activate the park.
Thanks very much. I am thinking of the opposite and how I can resort to digital modes when SSB isn't cutting it. If you spot yourself on the POTA website, you'll get the 10 required. 73!
@@M0JSX hah, yep, i love self spotting on POTA app when I'm operating, the RBN for FT8 and FT4 is great as well. In my. last PoTA most of the digital modes where from PoTA Hunters, FT4 was so fast ! 73 and hope for a P2P one day :)

My pole's not as big as yours (ooo-er!), so I tend to use an EFHW in an inverted V configuration with the pole in the middle. In fact, I knotted a small washer at the centre of my EFHW wire which I can slip over the end of my pole's top section and have it sit at the bottom of that. With a thin wire put up this way, I have equal stresses on both sides and I can use a very lightweight fishing pole without it bending over due to the weight of the wire.
