I seen the movie so they did some okay balance with each of the characters and they never done anything deeper then that. You're reading it wrong. Cyborg doesn't know what trauma Ren has faced, or if he's faced any in the first place. Cyborg is referring to his own trauma and making light of it. Nora's laughter is a response of "oh, you don't know the half of it" cause she knows what he went through and how it awakened his semblance.

Cyborg didn't had a easy route as well for being half machine while his families are no longer in his life in each random universe. He didn't choose to be like this and live with it throughout his life. He had no choice but to adapt and accept it unlike Ren that is still human and can build a future still and make his choice on how he can live to move forward.

I haven't watch all the rwby series but still even the one's that are both DC and rwby fans understand that each characters all been through hard times but again it's the writers are the one's should of pay attention on the details of them before making the storyline.

And then it just kinda resolves itself on its own and then they just get along at the end with basically no like “hey don’t flirt with nora” or “don’t be a jerk to ren” that’s like entirely forced. Plus Ren is already a teenager so it’s not like he’s having to “battle his hormones” or whatever the excuse was for making everyone young. This entire thing felt like it was just meant to be like “hey look at this healthy relationship how can I mess with it”

Nora looks so weird with bracelets and a weird frame keeping her coat (vest?) super pressed to her body. I guess it's only some scenes, but still. It gives her a weird look.
It was an okay movie, Ren's jealously doesn't seem in character, but Nora being independent does as she is trying to be more Nora and not Renora. But the best ship: KNIGHTLIGHT, Jaune and Jess had a great spark. It's a Spark not a confirmation. Great to see whether it's just a friendship or it becomes something more.
It's a friendship or a family bonding for how they interact with each other. They never see each other more then that but you got to understand that Jess is an adult and only cyborg is the youngest among the justice league.

Yes he may have a mature mind experience because of the years but his body did reverse back to his normal youth before it all happened. And yes they still seem more family like then going towards a love relationship which they don't have that interaction of that at all.
