Year late, but i believe that Nebula wasn't effected by it, because she was no longer a living being. I believe Thanos took everything that would have been living from her. And i think that Tony lived because of the promise Thanos made to Dr.Strange. I believe, to a very limited extent, that Thanos was able to select a few particular individuals to live or die. That's just my speculation though.

He spared Nebula's life so that Gamora would tell him where the Soul Stone was and he spared Tony's life in exchange for the Time Stone from Dr. Strange. No idea if that played a part of them not being part of the half that was erased, but it does seem a bit odd it was only those two from the Titan group who survived the Snap.

Woke up this morning, saw this new song posted, and immediately knew... a new song by Aviators, posted on Thanksgiving morning? Dis gunna be gud. Spent the rest of the day with my phone in hand and one earbud in, listening to it while doing all the holiday stuff with family. I wasn't disappointed.
The way they made multiple character protagonists, especially the development with Tony was awesome. Tony often budded heads with the Captain, because Tony too pride in his intelligence, had daddy issues (captain hanged out with his Dad), and because Captain was genuinely both a great humble guy and a great leader. Ironman was one of the first major films to hit off this whole avenger series and for good reason, when Captain America came as a movie labeled "the first Avenger" it did so much justic to who the Captain was and who the other heroes would develop to be. The Captain in his first movie gave up his own life right before he was about to have his dream life. Tony did it because the whole universe was at stake including his own family, it was the perfect merging point of his 'ends justify means logic' and 'time to do something heroic' character development when risking his own life became the only logical choice. Captain is boring to many because there literally is a lack of character development, but rather a character revealment (which i still find interesting). He innately had character, but no power. Ironman was the opposite. Both had full fruit of their character arc to the end. Ironman giving the final sacrifice that the Captain already did a long time ago without second though, and Captain America being able to wield Thor's hammer.
I just want to say that I am very appreciative of Aviators for marvel themed music. Not only is it very good, I love to share it when roleplaying and listen to it as I develop stories. It really helps set the emotions for intense thematic moments.
