Ludor is quite good, but Therion was perfect for Mats Levén. He got one amazing voice!
This was arguably Therion's finest line-up. Around 2006-7. Mats leven, Snowy, Petter, the Neumann brothers and Lori + Katarina (and of course the maestro). Although Mats' replacement, Mr Vikstrom, is damn fine too. The ever-changing line-up is one of the reasons this band has remained interesting for more than 20 years.

@JohnnyNoScope Fans buy the CDs anyways, but i can't be arsed to pick single ones out of the more than 2k of CDs i own just to listen to a song when i feel like it. TH-cam/Google is making plenty enough money either way. I wont complain against record companies putting up their songs here, it's a decent way to advertise and the fans benefit. But the bloody advert clips get on my balls.

En vivo Snowy, en mi opinión, arruina todo sentimiento que cualquier canción te puede llevar a provocar. Su voz discrepa por completo, además de que siento que quiere ganar protagonismo. Mats siempre fue impecable, el mejor vocalista que pudo haber tenido Therion.

The main line-up has changed: Petter Karlsson returned to playing drums, Christofer Johansson announced in 2006 he is retiring from singing, vocals on this album were performed by Mats Levén, Snowy Shaw, and three female singers: Katarina Lilja, Anna Nyhlin, and Hannah Holgersson. I love that this is the most watched Therion video on TH-cam. I've always thought that the first CD from Gothic Kabbalah is Therion's best album, which is weird because Christofer Johnsson wrote part of only 1 of those songs. This is by far the best lineup they've had. Levén, Karlsson and the Niemann brothers were great in this.

I fail to see how Therion are "Killing" metal in any way... they are one of the most original metal bands out there. What's killing metal is all these countless derivative bands that are afraid to take any risks. Therion is something special. It's bands like them that are HELPING metal, not killing it

@rizla1951 They are still an amazing band, Lemuria and Sirius B are amazing, Gothic Kabbalah is mesmerising. I think that you sound a bit silly calling this "anachronistic crap", Therion have evolved into a great band. I do agree that their music may not be as great as it was in the 90's, Sitra Ahra could have been so much better, hopefully the next album will be amazing.
