Everytime Therion changes lineup I'm heartbroken and miss the old lineup and everytime the new lineup has grown on me and became my favourite.
While everyone's complaining about the lineup changes, I'm envying how cool that bass looks!

Thomas has really grown on me, he actually developed and improved a lot since he joined Therion and I think now he's fantastic.

Therion es Cristopher todos los demas no importan y lo ha demostrado varias veces, es parte del ocultismo de la banda ya que para el algo no puede ser igual todo el tiempo... los cambios no son malos ni buenos ya que Therion sigue y seguira existiendo

They're basically the creators of symphonic metal :-) For similar sounds you should check out Nightwish "Ghost Love Score", Epica "Cry For The Moon", Within Temptation "The Promise"...
And with a darker edge, things like Tristania "Evenfall", Cradle of Filth "Right Wing of The Garden Triptych"...

Re-watching this right after Live Gothic is a culture shock for sure. Very different energy. Less "cool", dark and mysterious; more playful and (dare I say it) happy. Part of that is probably the location and time of day, but it's also the different line-up. I love the acoustic sets they've occasionally done over the last decade - without an orchestral backing track that the people on stage have to adhere to, this spontaneous spirit and playfulness can really shine. Different than 14 years ago, but enjoyable in its own way.

In Wine of Aluqah I miss Suvi Virtanen, Johana Marlow and Karin Fjerlander. In the rest I miss the best ever Lori Lewis. I respect Chiara, she is awesome.
Therion upadol do šedého priemeru. S kapely,ktorá bola špica ostal len tieň. Rovnakou cestou sa vybrali Metallica a Nightwish. Naopak taký Judas Priest,Epica,Slayer Tý si idú svoje a sú stále best.
