We are back in the Kingdom again for a third and final season. Riget is a Danish supernatural comedic mini series created by Lars von Trier and Tomas Gislason. The Exodus episodes are written by Lars von Trier himself and Niels Vørsel and are starring Bodil Jorgensen, Nicolas Bro, Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Lars Mikkelsen, Michael Persbrandt, Tuva Novotny, Soren Pilmark, Ghita Norby, Birgitte Raaberg, Peter Mygind, Udo Kier and Wilem Dafoe. I’ve waited 15 years for the third season, and it was an absolute joy to revisit the universe. Only thing I was a little disappointed about was, that Drusse didn’t a proper ending In my oppinion. But Lars Von Trier bring the person he is, Drusses ending couldn’t have been any different

Ah yes the American one right? Is it actually worth my time or are you trying to kill me slowly ? Hahaha i do like hate watching things! Just wondering how to set up my expectations xD

@@tornapart Difficult to say. I just binge watched it. It takes plenty of characters and scenes from the original. Has some really interesting additions like the Antubis creature and ghost dimension of the hospital.
But it's definitely not perfect and some of the later episodes are not that good.

I think the lady in the wheelchair is a ghost.
And i think the reason for not saveing the girl, is she is already dead, since she is in the "afterlife"

Scrubs is shit. How could anyone who understands Lars von Trier ever just have the idea, that any comparision with it could put something in a positive light, or even suppose to elevate it?

To be honest they re not comparable at all when it comes to their quality. I personally couldn’t even finish season 1 of Scrubs. But it is still an excellent example to sum up the premise and tone of The Kingdom especially to initiate people who know nothing about it. In film criticism you do it all the time, you can use a bad film to reinforce your case or to help you contextualise things.
