Tube diameter has nothing to do with the view or light gathering to the scope, the ocular and objective lens are what make the view.. tube diameter has a lot to do with vertical adjustment.. the big lie with scope makers is tube diameter.. most people buy a 4 lb scope and put it on a every day hunting rifle when a 1 inch scope would be perfect.. unless your a long range hunter maybe get a 34 mm scope.. I just got the tract 4.5-30 scope and it’s awesome!!! Great video 👍😊🇺🇸
Sounds good so far, I would really like to see them break into a 30mm main tube just for more adjustability. Zeroing the turrets looked like a great design and I like the locking parallax as well
Yes, I would really like to see them break in to the long range. I think they would have a real good spot in the market. I've got a SWFA 3x15 headed my way, I'll do a video on that as well. Oh, and a 1x4 and 16x-Fixed.
So I'm going to answer that in a couple weeks. I've got a SWFA 3x15 being shipped to my house right now. I'll also be testing the 1x4 and taking a look at the fixed 16 power scope. I'll be doing videos on each one, starting with he 3x15. Stay tuned, I'll try to get them reviewed and posted as quick as I can without compromising a quality review.
Jack Lucas I have that SWFA on a bolt action 308 and a tract response 7.62 on an LR 308. both scopes are awesome. had them both for about a year and a half and absolutely no problems. the tract isn't ffp or mil/moa scale. but the ballistic calculator on their website is very accurate. I ran it from 200yds to 700 yards in 100yd increments by turret twisting and it was spot on. then I did the same thing just using reticle holdovers. still spot on. the clicks are more authorative (?) than the SWFA and the glass is a little better, not so much that it's anything to brag about (response does not have schott glass). the SWFA is the same as far as repeatability, just mushier turrets and the reticle makes fire corrections easier.
They are defiantly high quality, I think $700 price range is a very good price. Because there is no middle-man, this would easily be a $1500 scope if there were.
Your videos are excellent however you made a comment regarding the scope is made for hunting. Then when on to say good for shooting up to about 500 yd. This gives a lot of hunter the idea that they can shoot deer etc at that range. It takes a really true marksman to not wound an animal at that range. Morally it's wrong for any sportsman to try and kill at that range unless he is equipped with the proper caliber and has trained for making 400 to 500 yd shots. Most hunters only go to the range a few weeks before season and take a couple of shots to sight in their rifle. After the hunt it goes back into the closet till next season. I know you probably agree but I think the way it came most guys think if they got that scope they will be able to take those longer range shots. Just too many unethical hunters in the field. I know from 35 years as a Conservation Officer. What I've seen over years working both Ontario, Canada and Michigan state has truly been sickening and the wasted animals. Enough said. So when are you reviewing one......?
Dude are you gona get the new 34mm horus type Jon was talking about?
Curt, does it have locking turrets?
K Dolotina yes if I remember correctly. I know the new 30mm Toric Scope does for sure. I’ll be posting about that one very soon.! Amazing new scope.!
I got one on order an can't wait till I get it so I can try it on remington 700 25-06
Why have great glass with a 1inch tube.
Japan rivals Germany in optics quality...U.S Optics makes their own and trumps them for a few $$$$ more.
Yes, that USO B-25 is a real Nightforce and S&B killer
Given the choice which would you choose, the SWFA 3x15 FFP 30mm tube or the Tract given that they have the same retail price?
Best regards.

Thanks for the review I heard they were all made in Japan and are expensive from what I read.

Roger San Gabriel for the quality of this scope the price is a steal
