That in the field boneless was easy if you're just gong to grind it all. Seemed like you were hacking away on it, and now I get it. Nice work, but when I do one I like to utilize more of the rear fine cuts and not grind it all. Enjoy that little guy, I can't wait to get some of those littler ones too.
Just wanted to let you know I love your videos. I am a fellow mo state employee, Mshp in southern Missouri. Quick question do you need to keep any proof of sex while you are transporting the meat before processing? Keep up the good work. I hunt some large public down here and have fallen in love with saddle hunting and I am going to have to pack out some deer quite a distance. Thanks!!!
Thanks Josh! Appreciate the support. To your question, not in Missouri. Many Western states do, but not here. It does have to be telechecked before processing however. Be safe, and thanks for your service!

Yep. Other than a couple roasts and the back straps, the rest is ground into burger and sausage. Makes it more efficient to work up in the field.
Great video from beginning to end. Good editing, thanks for all your efforts. Enjoy your harvest
Thanks! Appreciate it.
Great video. I wish you will show in "original time" the way you process meat in the field. I learned a lot from the video.
Awesome, can you tell me what type of grinder you have, and the sealer for the burger bags thanks
Thanks Patrick. The grinder is a Cabela’s brand commercial grade 3/4 hp. The sealer is a Weston Brand ground meat processing kit.
As someone who is going hunting for the first time what do you do with the hide, antlers and face area?
Great video. Im in PA my plans are to hunt pretty far back, but all day trips. What size pack to handle a boned out deer?
Thanks Billy. This one is about 2300 cubic inches. More than enough to haul out a boned out deer.
I’m in Westmoreland. I just bought a “pack out bag” for 109$. Look it up.
In WI we are only allowed to leave the gut pile. It would be nice if they'd take note of how other states operate.
Interesting. In Missouri we encourage hunters to leave the boned out carcass where it was harvested to minimize the spread of CWD.

I thought the deer came back to life
Thanks... Deer easier than elk!
I barely learned anything from this sped up video
