    Ellison's method of expanding is INSANE! A technique that is completely internal, unique to his own feeling, and imperceptible to the spectator. Totally elite. Two more Olympic medals in Paris!

      True but I wouldn't take his advice here if I were a newbie. He is able to do this by feel because he first taught himself how to do it properly, conciously. He is still amazing, though.

      Well I didn't say newbies, I said aspiring archers. Newbies wouldn't see the nuances of his shot anyway.

    I see. Sounds like he's using a little bit of instinctive shooting. Developing that subconscious does take a lot of practice.
    Great tip.

    • @CristiNeagu
      @CristiNeagu 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No. Instinctive shooting refers specifically to the aiming process. He's still using the sights. What he means by letting his subconscious take over is his form.

      U must know Brady's poundage..i think he's one olympic archer who use bow poundage more than 50lbs..not like other archers, their poundage as i know, korean archers use 44lbs till 46lbs..hoyt made special for Brady's bow n limb i guess..will not sell in the archery pro shop..

    I had the same shooting technique where i would let my subconscious take over at a certain part of my shot. After quarantine, I lost the subconscious feeling. I also developed target panic that has been going on for a few months, where im still not sure about the cause. My question is, how do i regain the subconscious feeling and overcome target panic?

    If you want to learn to shoot like a pro, Brady Ellison shouldn't be your first choice. It's extremely hard to shoot like he does. Requires a lot of strength, a lot of fine control, and a very, very good form. He is, more or less, a genius.

      @@Sardothien As far as i know, the standard all over the world is a straight draw, not a rotational draw like Brady uses.
