Sick and tired of it honestly. I have mentioned multiple times and here is the twitter thread. This is lazy plus it also means that they don't care for the greater issue, which is sexual harassment at the workplace especially in an Unorganized Industry.

However, My biggest issue with the Most of this Media and many journalists being unethical, untruthful, in making the Vairamuthu issue ONLY about ME, when I am ONE of THREE women who spoke on Camera. As of today almost 20 women have named Vairamuthu.
The shamelessness to protect him, make it about one political party or identity, plus making this is a 'Chinmayi issue' like the headline reads - it is a Sexual Harassment at Workplace issue.
Most people have used my name for click bait instead of doing anything to create awareness for the issue or to give guidelines on what to do to the general public.
I have documented everything on my Twitter and page and this was a pinned tweet for several months.

When I was working in Bharathiar University, I had seen many female students raising complaints against few male faculty which always ended up in vain or big impact for students. I myself had issues and continuously looking for women student/faculty support group/committee in the campus which surprisingly never existed. I raised a complaint. I struggled a lot to find some channel. I asked for commission and the other party never showed up for those commission. All my efforts ended up in vain. Everyone warned me that this will be a big impact in my career but I wanted to create atleast a record.

What is so good and to be admired about this interview is that the topic to be discussed is a tricky one but both have kept it to very sensible levels without going into any vulgarity. Wonder why women like Jyothika, Simran, Shruti Hassan, Trisha and Nayan who has been very successful in this industry for a long period of time are keeping quiet. If this is just not a hype and a true transformation is required more and more people need to raise these issues openly to make a difference. Every talented and ambitious women/men artist coming from less privileged background should be able to work in this industry with out fear. Just like any other industry women deserve the respect and there should be strict regulations and labour laws in this industry also. Every film /art lover needs support. Otherwise we will go backwards and start watching men acting as women in movies . Can you imagine that??

Great exchange of thoughts by two great personalities. Men have to be educated while women have to be empowered to soar from suppression and victimization. The legal systems and law need to be strengthened besides having special courts that should be mandated to pronounce judgment within a year. This requires the politicians to rise above petty politics to create a strong ecosystem with a balanced approach irrespective of gender.

பெண்களுக்கு எதிரான அத்துமீறல்களில் ஆணாதிக்கமே வெற்றி பெறுகிறது என்ற நிலையில், ஒரு ஆணாக மணி சார் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட பெண்களின் உள்ளுணர்வை (பாதிப்பை) புாிந்தவராய் நேர்மையாக பேசினார். குறிப்பாக சின்மயிக்காக நீங்கள் பேசியதும் பாராட்டுக்குாியது.
அந்த கவிஞருக்கு விரோதமாக சின்மயி மட்டுமல்ல. இன்னும் சிலரும் குற்றங்களை சாட்டினர். ஆனால் அவாின் செல்வாக்கினால், பல தனி நபர்களும் ஊடகங்களும், அவரை 24 மணிநேரமும் கூடவே இருந்து பார்த்ததுபோல அத்தனை பாிசுத்தவானாக வண்ணம் தீட்டினர். அந்த பெண்களை கீழ்த்தரமாக பேசினர். அரசியல் வாதிகள் உயர்வுகளை கொடுத்து கொளரவப்படுத்தினர்.

உங்களிருவருக்கும் நன்றி. தொடர்ந்து பேசி ஒட்டுமொத்த பெண் சமுதாயத்திற்கும் நீதி நியாயம் கிடைக்க உதவும் ஊடகவியலாளர்களாக விளங்குங்கள். வாழ்த்துக்கள்.!
இந்த சமுதாயத்தில் ஒருவிதத்தில் கிட்டத்தட்ட எல்லா பெண்களுமே பல நேரங்களில் ஏதாவொரு விதத்தில் பாதிப்புக்கு ஆளாகியுள்ளார்கள். ஆனால் வெளியே சொல்வதில்லை. திரைத்துறையினரை போல வெளிப்படையாக பேசும் தைாியம் கிடையாது. இப்படி தைாியம் இல்லாததுதான் பல ஆண்களுக்கு தீனியாய் இருக்கிறது. நீங்கள் சொல்வது போல இது சினிமா துறையில் மட்டுமல்ல. எல்லா துறையிலுமே நடக்கிறது.
நான் PGDCA படிக்கும்போது ஒரு examiner வேறு கல்லூாியிலிருந்து வந்திருந்தார். என்னை viva பண்ணினார். நான் முடிந்து வெளியே வந்த சில நிமிடங்களில் மீண்டும் அழைத்து சிாித்து பேசி, என்னைக் குறித்த விவரங்களை கேட்டுக்கொண்டு, தன் தொடர்பு எண்ணையும் கொடுத்து ரூமுக்கு வரும்படி நோிடையாக அழைத்தார். எல்லா பெண்களையும் போல தைாியம் இல்லாதவளாய் கலங்கிய முகக்தோடு வெளியே வந்து அழுது வீடு திரும்பினேன். சில ஆண்டுகள் கழித்து MCA படித்தேன். என் நேரம்.. அந்த படிப்பின் ஒரு பிராக்டிக்கலின்போது இந்த ஆளே examiner ஆக வந்திருந்தான். வயதில் நல்ல பொியவர் தான். எனக்கு இம்முறை இந்த ஆளிடம் முகபாவனையின் வழியாக வெறுப்பை உமிழ்ந்துவிட வேண்டும் என விருப்பம். அந்த ஆளும் என்னை அப்படியே அடையாளம் கண்டு கொண்டு விட்டார். அது மட்டுமல்ல. மிக ஜாலியாக பேச ஆரம்பித்தார். ஆனால் நான் வெறுப்பான முகத்தோடேயே பதிலளித்துவிட்டு என்னிடம் திரும்பி எனக்கான ப்ரோக்ராமை செய்ய ஆரம்பித்தேன். சிறிது நேரத்தில் அந்த ஆள் என்னிடம் நோிடையாக வந்து பயங்கரமாக வெகு சத்தமாக அனைத்து மாணவர்களும் கேட்கும்படியாக திட்டினான். என்ன காரணத்திற்காக அவன் என்னை திட்டுகிறான் என்பது யாருக்கும் புாியவில்லை. ஆனால் அப்போதும் என்னால் ஒன்றும் பேச முடியவில்லை. வெளியே வந்ததும் பயங்கரமாய் மீண்டும் அழுதேன். அந்த நேரத்தில் திட்ட வேண்டும் என தோன்றியபோதும் பிராக்டிக்கல் மார்க் ஜெயித்து விட்டது. ஆனால் படிப்பு முடிந்த சில வருடங்கள் கழித்துதான் எனக்கு உரைத்தது. மார்க் என்னடா மார்க் என்று அவனை அங்கேயே கிழித்திருக்க வேண்டும் என விரும்பினேன். இப்போது அந்த ஆளின் பெயர் மறந்து விட்டது. ஆனால் இன்றும் (20 வருடங்களுக்கு மேலாகி விட்டது) அவன் என் கையில் சிக்க மாட்டானா என என்னுடைய Me Too வாக தேடிக்கொண்டுதான் உள்ளேன். இது உதாரணத்திற்கு ஒன்று.

Mee Too is amazing initiative for women, but the crux got hijacked by ppl like Chinmayi. She shouted against Vairamuthu, accepted. But she got so much carried away blaming left and right by naming a person and degrading that person if someone tweets to her, without knowing the truth. That’s what happened when she tweeted bad abt dance master Kalyan and walked away quietly when they pointed out it was wrong info. This is issue of ppl misusing the system, she also conveniently went after Vairamuthu but not against Tambram Narayanan.
