& of course everybody will ask "why use heat when her hair is already heat damaged?" here you go: The problem isn't heat, her problem was EXCESSIVE heat which is what heat damage is (retouching pieces everyday, going over the hair more than needed, temp too high, etc). This is how she wanted her hair. Getting your hair properly straightened won't result in heat damage and her hair being properly conditioned + prepped + protected there's no worrying about further damage.

For those of you that only know about hair from youtube. Just because you have heat damage doesnt mean you can no longer use heat or it will cause damaged to the undamaged parts. Heat damage or trained hair comes from either applying high heat repeatedly to a section or not properly deep conditioning then applying excess heat. Mind you can still grow heat trained hair beautifully. Some people do it purposely to loosen the curl pattern. Its kind of like a relaxer but with heat. Some people don't mind their hair not reverting. If a stylist is properly trained they can still apply heat to the already trained hair without it being further damaged. Look at sisterwithrealhair channel. She has beautiful heat trained hair. Its actually not the end of the world unless you wear your hair curly all the time.
People kill me when they say you can't revert heat damage I have but like you said depends on the severity of the heat damage her curls came back more then what anyone thought they would I'm sure... great job on they style girl 😍😍😍💜
